Doom Eternal OST is amazing, Mick Gordon is a genius. Can you make that part from "The Only Thing They Fear is You" where all the instruments stop and the only remaining thing is an amazing step sequencer synth?

This kind of reminds me of AU5’s video of using the chaos modulators in Serum to create better supersaws using one oscillator. Interesting idea, thanks!

Yeeeah, love it, I've been using the 0.001s random LFOs for a few weeks now and they can be extremely useful. Especially nice if you use some remapping, can be used for something more crackly or just to make it less digital for something like a flute. Often has to be keytracked. Also, random tip, instead of LMB -> Enter Value just do Alt + LMB.

Lol, the drop right after your mild mannered: "Let's make the..." intro really made me laugh. Good times. Love this channel, Eric. Literally one of the best resources on Vital I've seen.

Excellent tutorial! I followed it to the letter, although I set the Soft Clip's Drive to 6.66 for obvious reasons xD

Amazing tutorials. I've been working on recreating Deep in the glowing heart by Jon Hopkins for months now, I'm pretty close to getting it down, but I'm new to Vital, previously relying on stock plugins. Would you be able to make a video on that track? I'm mostly struggling getting that lush deep bass and the main arpeggiator.

hi i dunno if you will see this as it is an old video, but i have a question. When you are setting up the macro for the FM part, is that just so that it can be controlled with a midi controller or is there another reason that I am not wrapping my head around. (i could just be missing something obvious as there is ALOT to this synth) also i wanna say I have been using your videos to learn Vital for a couple months and really wanna say thank you! I have bought some of your preset packs as a way to support the work you do ( my fav prob being the rhodes which i got in the sounds you know pack (i think it was that one, i bought a few). even tho i try not to use presets because i wanna learn to do it myself, i really appreciate the work you put out here for us. thanks in advance if you see my question and are able to answer!

Thanks for your support! I usually assign parameters to macros if I think it’s something someone might want to adjust or something somebody might want to modulate during a phrase.

could you do a tutorial on how to do the bass preset from Memory reboot by VØJ and Narvent ?
@EricBowman8 ай бұрын
This tutorial will get you most of the way there: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d7-Se5iA0re-mWQ.htmlsi=QgU8TvTm-VUegD5e You can play with the phase and filter cutoff and add some chorus or a stereo width plugin to get the rest of the way.

Hi! This was really helpful, I actually used this guide for my Doom cover lead. I have been studying synths for the last months but there's one sound I really cant get. At minute 2:40: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nNOFd9VjqbWWmac.htmlsi=VUIAyGV85xLUdlCB Maybe you can give me some advice...? The tone is there, but I can't get the TRRRRRRRRRRR
