I don't know how you do it Pix. Your builds manage to be beautiful, detailed, and functional, without being over-detailed, and they stick to the same style and similar palettes. And you freehand most of them. I would absolutely love to see a sort of idea/concept video where you go through your process for building.

I appreciate your ad placements by the way. You always place them when one section ends to a black screen. Unlike some who place 6 to 10 ads and they cut off mid sentence all the time destroying the flow of the video.

If you end up revising/finishing this build, I think it would be awesome to have the waterfalls play more of a central feature in the building's architecture! The open water has a neat eccentric feel when exposed that would give the building a really unique appearance while still keeping in line with the overall theme of the area.

Pixlriffs, I recently got back into Minecraft about a month and a half ago. I never actually played Survival when I was younger, so when I started my first survival world recently, I had no idea what I was doing. So, I tried looking up a "Minecraft Survival Guide" on KZfaq, and that, of course, led me to this series. I watched the entire series and I've finally finished with today's episode. I wanted to say thank you so much for making this series. Your episodes are always high quality, you're clearly a Minecraft pro, and most importantly I learned so much stuff from this series that I have been and will be able to use in my own survival world. I appreciate the effort you put into these episodes (as I'm sure everyone else watching does). Thank you for doing this series Pixlriffs, and I hope there are many many more episodes to come!

tip: waterlogged blocks are completely blastproof. stairs, slabs, and trapdoors are best for use because of their ability to restrict flow direction: bottom slabs prevent downward flow, stairs restrict flow in the direction of their two-height section, and trapdoors in whichever direction they are flipped to. this allows for resource-efficient, space-efficient, custom-appearance blastproofing for a variety of blocks. keep water from leaking using 2x2 containment systems consisting of stairs with airgaps pointing inward, which result in "stairpipes" for walls; half-meter pools using slabs for the main area and stairs for the edges are good for rooftop pools/ceilings. flooring can be achieved with stairpipes. this also converts any lava that comes in contact with any side of the object to stone (flowing) or obsidian (source).

I had a Creeper blow up in a water doorway in my old world. While it did not do any structural damage, it destroyed over 13 sets of Armor Stands in the blast radius. I have also seen Creepers destroy Tridents stuck in them and/or not in hand. While you may be able to blast proof blocks, entities can be much more fragile.

You should water log stairs or something to make your water source for brewing. I think there could be a lot of designs with it if it is possible to use bottles of water logged blocks.
