Thanks a lot, I had idle issues for months after replacing a radiator on a DA, it helped a lot since the FITV never got hot enough to fully close which also made the car run rich and give bad mpg's, this is a VERY important vid, good job.

Very good video. Your engine and transmission looks so clean. Thank u. I had to bleed my coolant system. My radiator was replaced and my gauge was fluctuating. Also when the fan came on one side of the radiator was cold the other side was hot. I had to bleed it twice good to go. I did it the same way you showed on video. Thanks.

Great direction. Simple and should be effective. I haven't bled the engine coolant yet. But I'm noticing that the motor (B18C) temp passes the halfway mark on the cluster gauge and the fan don't turn on (after 20 minutes on idle). Upper hose is HOT and bottom hose is still COLD. I recently did a swap (D16 to '97 B18C ITR on my 89 Honda Civic hatch Si). We installed new thermostat (dealer), aftermarket water pump, ECT sending unit, fan switch, radiator w/ cooling fan, and hoses. I don't know why the thermostat appears to be not opening. Got any ideas? Thanks.

Hey quick question and I hope you guy's can answer this. I have a 2000 Honda civic coupe and it has a d16y7 and it's making a ticking noise I believe it's not a rod knock or anything like that. I've had read that it's the valves loose or the timing belt being loose. But I can't pin point the problem.

I tried this for multiple cycles ~ 30 minutes on a '94 3.8L V6 Mustang. No heat would come out of the vents when I tested them, still having overheating issues, should I just keep going? How will I know to stop if I dont have a bleeder valve?

I did this yesterday on an em1 i bought last week. It's so cold up here in canada so I gave up after the the radiator fan cycled once. I let it run for some time after that with no bubbles coming out of the radiator. should I do this again and make sure the fan cycles twice?

Good straight ahead video. But if you're not gonna use a no-spill set up or a pan underneath, please make sure you at least dilute whatever spills onto the ground. Coolant smells sweet to animals and they will drink it if it's puddled up and it is extremely toxic to them. Peace.

WHEN should the fans come on when the A.C. isnt on? I let it idle for 40 min and revd it up but they never come on so I then went and beat her down the hywy and back and they STILL wouldnt come on... only when I turn the ac on..?! Could you inform me on what the name of the sensor is that is supposed to kick the cooling fan on when it gets near 200⁰ when the ac is OFF?! Thank you man for replying so quick!!
@josephgatmaitan9754 жыл бұрын
If you're in a cold place it will really take some time for the rad fan to switch on since it's cold, if however it doesn't turn on at all, you might have a faulty thermoswitch or fan.

Hi , i have a no heat problem with my acura 2004 mdx . I've checked everything out too , the flow in the radiator is good and it doesn't overheat at all and i looked under the center column and the heating switch is moving from cold to hot too and i looked at the heater control valve under the hood and that's moving from cold to hot as well. Here's the thing the 2 hoses going to and from the heater core aren't getting any pressure and i do not know why. Can you help>?

heres a good cooling system conundrum that i've yet to figure out. ive got a ej7 coupe with a full k20z3 swap, kpro v4, k tuned billet thermostat housing and a full width csf aluminum radiator with a single 12" fan, no heater at all. when the car is left to sit and idle, it overheats, sometimes fast and other times more slowly. in my kpro ive got the fan set to come on at 185. when it comes on, the temp still continues to rise. when driving in normal traffic it gets to temp like normal, but if you start to get into it hard it begins to overcool badly. it'll drop from 185-190 to about 130 in the matter of a single pull, even when its summer time. anybody else ever had this issue or know of a solution? ive tried bleeding the coolant at least 4 times now and nothing seems to be helping.

Javier teggy if your switching coolant types from green to Honda blue like I want to Do . Id use the chris fix flushing method with distilled water minus the cleaner and then use the blue coolant when its all flushed and clean then use the HSG bleeding method.
@javierteggy12085 жыл бұрын
@@socknetea nevermind man i did it and i jst flushed it out and used water then re flushed and then made sure i used pure water to bleed it and re flushed out and then filled blue fluid.. rides more smoother for me. I havent ran it a month yet but seems lik the coolant is way better smooth throttle response.
