how to blow shankh/ conch shell
1) produce vibrating sound through upper and lower lips and blow small amount of air , dont just blow air without vibrating lips.
2) lock lips my applying pressure to blowing portion , practice step one at one point of time sound comes through shankh , take care air not to go outside hole portion.
3) use your full breath so you can blow long time , at start slowly blow shankh , once sound come we can increase air flow, when we feel air is coming to end then stop blowing shankh.

In second try, itself I was able to blow the conch. Very well explained, thank you sir ! My ENT doc advised me to blow conch shell, as a remedy for an incurable chronic voice disorder. Due to which my vocal chords dont function normally. Thank you so much, for uploading. I feel hopeful now.

This was very helpful, I was able to get it on my third try, much to the dismay of my cat. I have tried with the shell I have before, but had no success until your video. It's very exciting for me because most of the devotional songs I listen to begin with the blowing of the conch shell.
