It just dawned on me that when baby hawks are in their nests they are never near water. Do they require water and if so are they given this with a dropper as a mommy hawk might do with its beak? assuming this ofcourse.

No, they receive fluids from the flesh of the prey they are fed, usually blood, which is highly nutritios and can sustain them for a long time. Water becomes accessible to them after they leave the nest.

Some questions I see are crazy. No they will eat several times a day. I believe in the U.K. Falconers have to get there hawks and falcons from breeders. Don't think there is a wild take over there. In the US we have a falconry take. Most hawks will die in the wild in there first year. So its conservation on a small level.

@@bdgrey there is so much about what you wrote that is incorrect. Firstly, not all countries have such restrictions, especially in Europe. In much of Europe anyone can purchase a captive bred bird of prey. In the United States there are non-mbta (exotic) raptors that anyone with the money can just go out and buy. Molted feathers of Falconry birds do not need to be logged and they can definitely be kept indefinitely by the falconer as long as they keep an active Falconry license. Those feathers can always be retained by the falconer for future imping purposes. Why would you write such an essay on a subject you clearly don't have a full understanding of?

You need to get your falconry license, then you need to serve as a apprentice for at least 2 years, then you can apply for a general falconry license . After that you can apply for a peregrine trapping permit,

This isn’t the first Goshawk video that I’ve seen on this channel, completely hypocritical by this channel considering in the wild it’s the UK’s most persecuted bird of prey by sporting estates. But you don’t want to talk about or acknowledge that do you 😡
