Great video, I built the same Mercedes Tamiya kit and I noticed it doesn't include the motor. Too bad they didn't have the hood open and have a basic engine.

I have exactly the same model, only in 1:64 scale from the Hot Wheels brand. Despite the small size, the model has rubber tires and good detail.

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. Your work is beautiful. I would like to ask you a couple of questions: at 04:25 you say: 'Super clear is not suitable for this model'. What product do you use exactly? What brand? How do you protect the decals in this step? and finally, do you protect the decals on the windshield with any varnish or gloss coat? Sorry for so many questions. I would like to make this model and I have no experience in car models.

Not suitable because all superclears will melt decals, topcoats should be used when working on these kits, and windshield decals are not finished.

@@plagraphy5276 What about Topcoat first on the decals, and then a second coat on top with Superclear?

@@ianw3811 If you use Superclear on the top coat, the superclear will clump together and ruin the work as if oil and water do not mix.

Mr hobby while putty will help fill seem lines and part joins And zero paints matched the official paint for airbrush use. Also metal photo etch kit is made for this kit for more detailed work.

It's pretty cool. However, it is a pity that the decal looks like it is floating and the seal feels like it. I wonder if I should blow the clear thickly and sharpen it while removing the steps. Also, the decals on the 4-point seat belts are too dull, so I wouldn't use them myself.
