Brilliant 👏 👏 👏 could even add some extra air vents along the back and have a flat bar of metal to slide between two screws in order to allow more or less air flow then you can really dial in the correct temperature to cook your food 👍👌🥩

U really need a lot of electric tools en normal tools too built de BBQ. I don’t have a big place and a very small shed to construct anything. And even too see how many screws and bolts you need is a lot.

No hot plates what about an electric skillet, air frier, electric griddle, or crock pot. I love my electric skillet i cook lots of stuff that calls for the oven. Why waste electric on a stove when i can use less electric. I even made a home made pizza in it just to see if it would work.

It really came out great. You may want to think about getting a pop rivet gun, that way you wouldn’t have all the bolts sticking out. Thank you for sharing your design, be well.

Now you have gone and done it! I have to find a Jerry can and build this! You are so smart!!! I would have pop riveted all of the hinges and handle etc., but I though your design was great! Bolt on leg connectors so you “can” store the legs in the cooker(it is no longer a Jerry can) is brilliant! I’ve viewed your videos for a long time and you always come up with the best projects! Let’s get that van converted! Love from the Rocky Mountains, USA. Thanxz

I would add a latch for closing the lid during transport/storage, great idea for this BBQ. Curious how it handles warping of the metal once you have used it a couple of times, because it loses some stiffness after the cutting.

Another great video Lilly! Funnily I've got 4 of the 20l army Jerry cans in Black I bought last year! Kind of prepping idea as they can hold water petrol or diesel. I was going to turn one into a BBQ! They're all brand new unused, I just haven't got around to doing it yet but thought would be ideal for when I build out my campervan kind of a DIY outdoor grill to add a bit of a Personal touch! And have another couple for diesel and one for petrol so they can all store next to eachother and match up.. This is a great design that could be easily adapted to the bigger version.. you could store the legs and externals inside and perhaps have a carry handle or latch to keep it closed. And use the built in handle to carry it around.. maybe even a couple of holes on the other side /bottom for cross draught, but aside from that excellent simple functional and solid build! Given me a couple extra idea options to consider for my own design when I eventually do it lol.. 🫕👍 Well done! ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😎x Ps. I'm loving the diversity of your videos lately aswell!! 👍❤️🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Buy a cheap stick welder. Instead of drilling just weld the hinges and grate tabs. The end caps used for the legs put them inside welded and a hole the size of the pipe through the can. Handle use wing nuts to take it off. 2 lock latches and you are set. Finish it off with high temp heat paint. I’ve done a few of the beer keg grills. This is gonna be next

Wow.. how cool was this building video! Can't Do it.. is not in your dictionary.. My partner sits in a Electric wheelchair, and when there is a nurse who says i can't drive with it or work with it.. you have to do it in my place... I answer everytime.. i wasn't born with that manual.. i tried and figured it out myself. Respect girl.. i am jealous not having a seller or other place to do all of that! Keep posting video's like this.. i´ll repost them on my Facebook!
