How to build your own pull out camper trailer Kitchen. Easy build makes it easy with no welding, the slide is made of steel and requires some welding. The aluminum kitchen is light weight and has a lot more storage space than other expensive kitchens. it is also free standing and does not require legs.

Hi Peter, the bearing was a car bearing weldered to the steal tray that the kitchen is on. The u frame is the size of the bearing as tight as it can be to allow no play in it. It is very strong and can take at leased 100kg of weight. The U frame is attached to the steal trailer frame to take the weight also. Greg

Interesting vid mate but I Think you needed to take about 5 steps back so we could see what you were showing. It was a bit too close to see what was going on

What you're doing is getting offended by someone offering your grandfather a suggestion that will improve his skills in making videos. Thus helping him grow his channel, which would benefit him directly. Taking criticism personally on someone else's behalf helps no one. Now I regret giving away my pickup truck aluminium tool box. It would have been perfect to convert to a kitchen like this for my van that I plan on converting to a camper.

Great job, Looks super good and very convenient to use. But the video is just so hard to watch - I got a headache by the end of it as I can't focus on anything as everything is just flying in front of you as the camera moves constantly back and forth. It would be nicer to keep the camera more steady and do less moves with the camera trying to follow every line, cable opening and closing drawer and so on. That would make a huge difference. But the kitchen is just great and it's made of aluminum and not completely plywood and that makes a huge difference in weight too.

That's a nice kitchen you have there, but you need to back your camera up a bit.

Not sure now. I brought the c section and then got bearings of the closest size.

Nice work Greg, I'm trying to upgrade my camping trailer I semi built I also live in QLD. is there any legal requirements I need to know about before going ahead like electrical, gas, etc.

Hi Dan, There is lots of laws that you need to be aware of and I am not an expert, The weight of the trailer has to have brakes if it is over 750Kgs, So if you build a kitchen with a water tank and carry all your gear you may need breaks. the gas should not be a problem as all fittings and the bottles are all legal. The electrical is up to you but fusses and corrected fitting is about being safe.

Greg Tanner You also need to be aware of your ball weight which in Qld is around 10% of the overall trailer weight. So if your trailer weighs 800kgs the ball weight should not exceed 80kgs. The tow vehicle also has a safe tow rate and should not be exceeded. You can find all this information Qld Transport web.

It was slightly fixed in part 2 I use to just pause every 30 seconds or so to let it catch up "like you did in part 2" but if you use windows movie maker is good for syncing it up ill watch anything boring but the out of sync thing is a big killer
