Today we're looking at how to create a top tier tactic for your FIFA Career Mode saves!
We're using the 5 questions that were originally posted on the FM forum:
- Back 3 or 4: This is the place to start when deciding your team shape.
- Make the call on deploying wingers (meaning any player in M/AM(LR) positions) or not
- Where do my Widemen go
- Partnership or Sole Striker
- Fill in the middle with remaining players

I have my own style I have used for years which is a 32221 using 2 wingbacks and 2 number 10s behind a striker that runs behind. Used it on fifa and fm works brilliantly

On fifa 23, i will try to do a Andrea Pirlo type of career mode, hopefully he is in the game, I will play with him until I win the turkish league as he coached there now. narrow and possession based football with good ball playing centerbacks. Also hope this gave some of you guys an idea as you apply it to other managers.

I love 5-1-3-1 with 1 Cm and 3 Ams. Lam and Ram are a bit wide and closer to Cm, wing backs are high up the pitch. It basically converts into a 3-1-5-1 while attacking. I have my Cb to go forward so there is always extra help from the back.

Yeah, however you try to vouch for a five back system. It will always remain negative. Nothing exciting about a five at the back...

My usual tactic is 4 at the back, 1 CDM and a fast striker (a pair if its a narrow formation) and fast wingers, and theres usually a reliable CAM

I started a career at Newells old boys. Created Bielsa to go back there and created his 4141 and 3313 formations to use depending on the formation of the opposition. My challenge is to win the league again as Bielsa and then go on to win the south American version of the champions league.

I think I started as a false 9 but changed to essentially a 4123 making a big 6 player triangle for attack. 2 wb and 2 cb in back, cdm is the point of the triangle. Lam and ram in mid. Then rw st and lw as my front 3. I may get beat on the counter attack every once in a while but my attacking play with 6 guys is ferocious especially when you play wide with the wingers and cross into a 4-5 option box

My favourite tactic is 5-1-2-2. Choose 3-1-4-2, drop wingers to wingbacks and that's it

Often use 4-3-3 holding and move one of the CMs into cam and play last ditch defending and counter attack.

4-1-1-2-2 High fullbacks, CDM sits between CBs during attack to make a back three. Two attacking mids play like inverted wingers and form a triangle with cm. Strikers run the lines

just had a quick google, looks like sporting in portugal are in a faiar amount of debt: Sporting Clube de Portugal Futebol SAD reported a net loss of 33 million euros for the year ending in June 30 compared with net profit of 12.5 million euros the previous year, according to a company report. Total debt increased to 310.6 million euros in the same period from 298.6 million euros. althought it does seem managable with the amount they sell players for!

If you make them half a star you should start them in EFL league 2 and work your way up. Or go to liga 3 and work your way up to Bundesliga in germany. I prefer EFL since you have to get promoted 3 times to make it to the premiere league. I'm also not a big knowledgeable soccer guy but like manager career on fifa way more than franchise on madden so here I am 😂😭
