Weld a tire rim on the bottom and bury it ,will stabilize and stop anybody from stealing it. Turned out very nice.

I can see a big pot of ham, beans and onions being made out doors in the fall with a huge pan of corn bread with red and green diced peppers on the grill. Enough for about a dozen of your closest deer hunting friends. ♡♥♡♥

It is always a nice visit with you bud. Esp. on projects that take a bit of steel and add a piece to it and then again and again till done. I think one of these would be great in my back yard for sure. A couple good hot fires and the paint will be gone and then a good meal can be had. I Nice build my friend.

The pieces of scrap 1/4 round stock you had. I would have bent about a 4" piece 180° and welded it to each side of the grate to have small tabs to stick your finger in to lift the grate up with or without food on it.

Great job 👍 Mr. Kevin, on the 🔥 fire pit / grill, you were talking about steading it to the ground, this would work, 1/2" piece of pipe 2 to 3" long ,weld vertical 3 pieces spaced out around piece of big pipe on the bottom, then make some L- bolts approximately 16 to 20" long and drive into ground, this should hold it, THANKS and as always REMEMBER JESUS LOVE'S YOU 🙏🙏🙏 BTW. As far as roll offs on the grill, how bout a piece of 1/16" x 1/2" flat iron weld as you bend around the top of the grill, you know weld to the part you had trouble bending in a circle. THANKS!!!

Kevin, really looking good. You are going to have a first rate grill. I was just wondering how many people know what you are talking about when you say roof bolts? I agree that people may walk into the handle, make it removable with a place to store it??

Awesome job. I'm glad I subscribed to your channel. Question.... do you think it would be good to cut out a few holes around the pedestal down low in order to help create an updraft to help your fire burn clean, Kinda rocket stove air flow ?

Hi Kevin, great video. I was thinking that the rod you were going to put on the underside of the grill might keep the other rods from warping from the fire heat. Can't wait to see how it turns out. May God keep you and yours safe and healthy.

If you bury it in the ground the center area will not have no air coming in the small holes
