Hey everyone! I have put together this video after many questions from the flips I have done. HOW did I make the railing? Its really not hard at all! Follow along and just make sure to measure your space more then once and really be sure of your plan before cutting anything.
Thanks to my sponsor Craftsman and Dewalt Canada for making this video possible!
There is no exact material list since every railing is different but the dimensions of what I used are listed below.
The bottom and Top rails are 1.5 inches thick by 3 inches wide.
The posts are 3 inches by 3 inches
- I got all my wood from East Coast Specialty Hardwoods in Burnside and the custom milled everything for me out of Poplar.
The glass I used is 1/4 thick tempered that I custom ordered.
I also used construction adhesive
Clear flexible adhesive/caulking
4 inch screws
Natural wood fill
Sanding pads
Polyurethane
Tools:
Mitresaw
Table saw - if you are cutting the relief cuts yourself, but your local mill shop can also do this for you.
Drill
Multitool
Measuring tape
Pencil
Speed Square
Sander
