Hello Everyone, and welcome back to Satisfactory Update 8! We are back to our Satisfactory update 8 world and today we are building a factory to produce reinforced iron plates. These are a critical resource throughout the game and this design will be used over and over again as we continue through the game.

I love that simple platform design of just adding small walls around it, never thought of it. Definitely gonna steal it in 1.0 haha. It turns the usual eyesore that are starting floating platforms into something quite neat.

Hey thanks, I am trying to find a balance that works for me and my audience. If its ok for me to ask, what do you like about longer videos, and what do you want to see in them? Ill put together some longer and more detailed stuff though for sure, im sure that as I get into the later game its going to be harder and harder to avoid it. Ive already got episode 5 finished which has more cinematics in it, and clocks in at about 10 minutes. At the end of my last bout of content creation i got several comments saying they really only liked the cinematics and didnt care for the filler content, so I have tried to pare that back some, but I love hearing what people like and don't like to see. Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot.

i agree dude i think the short stuff is neat but i sit in zoom meetings for 2 hours a day and need something to fill the time

@Dekoba I like these short ones for builds, and I would also watch some "playthrough" videos to where you kinda play while explaining your thoughts on what your doing and your insights to why certain things are better/worse for certain factory set ups. I do enjoy all your videos, what your are doing is great just thought I'd share that I would watch longer content as well.

@@Dekoba Just found your videos as I'm getting back into the game with Update 8! I'm curious about something that I haven't been able to find much on, how do you go about planning storage areas for all your production? I'm in the Nothern Forest starting area (The really good one with 4 pure iron nodes) and been trying to centeralize my storage, but its honeslty looking like it might be more of a pain then its worth. Any advice?
