This is a video explaining how to make and use an Alpha Com (aka a-com) which is used for connecting digivice's together over the internet via codes that can be sent between users. The creator of the a-com and many of the contributes to the ONL1NE project can be found at its discord. We also hold tournaments and many other things often so please join us to learn even more.

- Sometimes the cables used can be bad or be only for charging, try different cables if you have issues

It just took hours before the alpha terminal recognized and paired to my arduino and before it was fully operational and after that I followed the last steps on you’re video and my vpet is all set up and I can now send and create codes via the alpha terminal thank you so much for you’re help kind sir ^_^

Hello Zack, i just recently buy Arduino Nano Atmega168, i try to upload the .ino file but failed due to global variable consume more space about 145%. Are there any way to optimize the .ino file so that it can be uploaded into Nano 168?

Hello, I have just made all the steps and everything worked fine! Thank you for this. So, I was doing a lot of battles tonight, until my vpet (a 20th bought last month) suddenly ran out of battery. It seems that the A-com could be drainning energy from the vpet. What could have caused this? What am I doing wrong?

I took the battery off and on again and now is working fine, but it was showing a big battery with an X in the middle. I don't know if I'm doing this in a not safe way

If you are using the original battery then it will die very fast even without the a-com. The coms have no known impact on the devices as they act just as other vpet devices would when connected.

Taking the battery out and putting back in will only work for a short time because the voltage will go back up in the battery just a little because it’s not in use for a moment.

Ideally as long as I followed instructions right, I produced a Linux appImage and it can be downloaded from the same place as the others, no idea if it works

When I initialise with V1-000, the output was s:0000 t:-3 . When I tried with an input for my vpet, it doesn't connect. May I know what's the issue?

Hey i have a fix for this now. I got my acom working with code converter and will test shortly with world. I had my wires connected in reverse to my digivice. The wire from a2 on the arduino goes to the front conenctor on the digivice and the wire from ground goes to the back connector plate. When using arduino, activate it using v1-0000 which with nothing connected shoud output 's: 0000 t: '. When your digivce is connected it should also output the same, if not then try reversing your connectors. Then when you're ready use ' V2-0904-0907-384E-008E-05AE-01EE-000E-000E-000E-@0^F^FE ' (paste it in but dont hit send just yet) as a test so when you select battle on your digivice, go through all the prep steps as you would if you were connecting two digivices, then hit enter on the code to send that code to your digivice. ad you shoudl get a response like below: s:0000 t s:0000 t s:0000 t s:0000 t s:0000 r:0904 got 28 bytes: s:0101 r:1332 s:0101 r:0002 -> N got 53 bytes: V1-0101-0101-800E-008E-05AE-01EE-000E-000E-000E-@0F0E -> V1-[10 packets] s:0101 r:0904 s:0101 r:0907 s:800E r:384E s:008E r:008E s:05AE r:05AE s:01EE r:01EE s:000E r:000E s:000E r:000E s:000E r:000E s:FF0E r:F0FE s:0101 t Use d-com code converter to get you signal out

its a PCB that mimics the contacts vpets have for easy connection.

Mini’s use the DMX battle system and you connect the ground to on of the outer prongs and the data to the middle prong of the vpet

For some reason I simply cannot get it to upload to my board. At least it only cost me 30 bucks total. I’ve wasted a lot more on a lot less.

i dont know your specific issue for sure from that but most of the time people have issues uploading you arnt using the right com port, most of the time this is because you dont see the actual port since the computer doesnt see it. try installing the drivers i linked in the description.
