Installed these on a riding mower kzfaq.infoUgkxetgfkJxfdT_B2vGYP-uNTLaBbim9OKTD . They were sharp out of the box, although I've never liked blade edges that were coated...not quite as sharp as I personally want. Using my belt sander, I removed the coating from the cutting edges and refined the edge enough to shave with them. So far, after three runs, these blades are holding up as expected. Even after hitting a few fallen 1/2 inch or so branches, the edges are still sharp as heck. No edge dings, no warping, etc. As far as installing them, the cutouts were of the proper size and shape to fit my aging Craftsman mower. Very satisfied.

Made 6 farmhouse tables for my wedding last summer plus a coffee table/bench. Dimensions: 6' x 3'-4", Made them a tad shorter in length but used seven boards instead of six, wider to fit a large cutting board with a large piece of lamb, family style. Thank sir for this video, I saved thousands of dollars in renting fees for a 3 day weekend wedding. Took me about 4 weeks to make plus stain and seal while also preparing a wedding of 50 guests, everything made by ourselves. Five of the tables I sold to friends after the wedding, kept one plus the coffee/bench. Never crafted a table before in my life, lots of fun! Pictures here:

Hi there. A message from the U.K.: just made “your table” and it’s great. Many thanks for a super informative video. Only problem is the materials cost me £184 ($250 US). That’s why suppliers call the U.K. “treasure island”!

With treated wood, you need to let the lumber dry before staining. In Midwest we typically wait anywhere from 3-6months to a year to let dry and then stain (Mainly that comment is from working with decks, not tables) :)

Thank you for the inspiration and instructions to build my own table. Watched your video yesterday, got the materials this morning and finished the table this late afternoon. Yes, I feel good about it. God bless you!

Awesome video Chris. Paver patio looks great. My wife runs a hardscape company so I have a tendency to notice pavers😂. Table looks great, gives me a few ideas for our backyard set up.
