This video was great and all, but confidence and self-esteem is nothing more than self-fufilling prophecies. If you tell yourself you are worth it, that you are great, and you take other peoples complements to heart instead of shrugging them off, then you will gain confidence. Act as a confident person would, then you will become that confident person. You are what you say you are.

I was thinking about that. Now , I am 33 and I have confidence , when I was 21-25 I had 0 confidence. Little by little I started to get out of my comfort zone and I accomplished many things, I gradually increase by confidence

I think the big issue here is like yea the way to build social skills and confidence is through practice but the issue a lot of people have is they sont have the confidence to do it. its the age old "if you wanna get better at social skills and have less anxiety just do it" well thats easier said than done ya know?

While this is true, where can we get my self esteem from in social situations, which is essential to acquire the skills for my confidence? with low self-esteem you are always struggling and being vulnerable cannot much progress in social skills , while others who can offer the world much less than you, but with a high self esteem, can easily acquire these skills and become confident.
