How to Build: Hervis Daubeny

I was asked by more than a few folks to do this next in How to Build. I'm certainly not the only one to do a guide on Daubeny, but since I am one of the only ones to make a lore video dedicated to him, I figured this would be fun. So how do you build Hervis Daubeny, the Lion of Feronia? Well...let's get into it.

i remember back in 2020 when astrea dropped i started the order of daubeny , just a bunch of wardens running around killing warmongers while dressed as daubeny, kinda hillarious

11:57 I actually choose to give him the Chimera Throne since Daubeny sits on a Throne that is vary similar (if not the exact same) on "The Ring" Map and I thought it was fitting Also I am 99% certain that Daubeny actually does wear the Arcturus helmet and not a Story unique Helmet. I'm also looking forward to seeing you build Holden Cross, I actually made Holden Cross myself and I would like to see how your Holden compares to mine. Edit:I would have absolutely given Daubeny the Sheep effect if I had that effect 😂

Here's an idea what if the warden in the story mode didn't leave the Blackstone legion? Would the Iron legion reform under someone else or Would die off. Because the warden and the Iron legion are important in the story so Would be like if they stayed in Blackstone

Hm…that could be interesting. Another idea could be what if the Warden decide to NOT join the Blackstone Legion? Would that even change anything?

@@mkdemigodzillawarrior Then he'd refuse Holden's proposal and get killed. Remember what he said before Holden knights him: "We were still at their mercy". Hervis's soldiers were less than the Blackstone, they were getting overrun. Should the Warden refuse that'd, in my opinion, break off the "deal" to leave Hervis alone. The Warden killed a Warden of the Blackstone, he joins them as "replacement" and because he's worthy of it. If he refuses, the Blackstone lost a good Warden and are insulted the other one refuses, so they kill him off. Though dunno if Holden would go that far but that'd be possible.

@@saechabashira8380 Hm…yeah that is true. It could be that Holden wouldn’t want to bother losing more men just to kill one Warden, so maybe he would just leave? At least, that’s my guess.

I'd watch the what if apollyon return ed video and got couple of ideas like what would happen if the factions successfully fended off astreas first attack at the test your metal or what if daubeny failed to save holden during the eclipse or what if apollyon won against the champion at the end of the story mode.

I actually think the Guts then Chop execution is a good fit because he does solething similar in the story mode (first chapter) when you fight alongside him

Pretty cool. I’m sure there have been tutorials on how to create Daubeny but not ones that go into this much detail and explanation on how to acquire certain cosmetics. Thank you! Unfortunately, while close, the sun symbol on the real Daubeny’s back in the story mode is not the same as Sun 2. It’s slightly different and cannot be used in multiplayer. There’s a lot of cool campaign cosmetics still not available in multiplayer.

I saw on the wiki about him that it wouldn’t be an execution for him, but for Holden. It’s pretty interesting if you can find it.

I go bronze cause it matches with the ornaments secondary color Also for executions i would use the guts then chop execution because of that one part in the campaign where he cuts the head off of that warden

I like to think that the Warden from the campaign found Daubeny after he saved Gryphon’s life and gave him his sword back as a sign of respect.

I do think he'd use Pugno Mortis as well since the commanders in breach use it and he was technically the commander of Westhold Castle

Ive had ya boi Daubeny as my warden for years, i had him using the story modes warden sword but after Warmommy dropped i switched his sword to Apollyon's sword, figure if rhe warmongers are chasing him it'd be funny if he ended up with her sword

What Rep is your Warden character? I think you need to be rep 20+ in order to have all the right parts for Ademar

@MKDemiGodzilla Warrior it's not like makin daubeny is difficult. His setup is very straightforward, so why not do Astrea. Her setup is straightforward.

Making already existing characters is kind of boring imo. Make characters that are based off of Sub-factions in the lore like Blackstone or Daubeny’s Militia
