I made the switch from FFBE a couple of weeks ago and I love this game, SOM is my favorite childhood game so they knew how to get me. Awesome vid, a couple of things to add to the late ability damage mix would be Phase Change and Power Counter, they are both awesome.

I'm noticing that proud force is almost necessary to sustain in the later levels like Blaze Garden. It's an inherent skill in sevias tree. I can't quite remember which ark it actually comes on.

You should also use goddess kiss and there's another ability that lets you lose three MP to deal 50% more damage

Fast is the casted brave, auto is the persistent one. Fast is better, tho. No content requires auto brave. Also, double impact is the only impact worth the sc and auto haste is mandatory late game for farming and tower on melee because you only really farm 1-1 stages rn.

Fast Brave casts it on you at the start of the wave and has 30s duration, Auto-Brave is the permanent effect that you get from Raynicle. Aside from that, it seems about right... Tho, I do think that if you're going to use crit builds you have to put Proud Force and Pride... Overall Physical builds are so SC hungry if you're not using Randi (cuz he already has most of the killer crap on his skill tree so you just slap a Special Boost from the Moonlight assassin Ark and done) I always consider them really endgame builds.

Great guide! Good to see I am on the right track building up my Randi. Need more Zell! Have all the mats needed to break 60 for Randi, but just missing zell (250k). Just hit level 10 on Geist Training Mountain, then realized Randi had MAX ATK as a skill *facepalm*

Missing the important tri-factors: Critical up + Proud Force 4 sc (crit recovers HP) + Proud 2 sc (inc str 20% at full hp). (Less) tri-factor: Critical up + Proud Force 4 sc (crit recovers HP) + Flying Shadow 4sc (inc speed at full hp). Dual-wield also add damage spawn for skill. Especially important for 1 charge skill (raven edge, refined fang) b/c they hit 9,999 damage often. Magic is good clearing weak - mod mobs. Physical is better for Boss (many resistance). Randy is the #1 PVE. Japan just release the #1 PVP physical with solider, mange, knight killer/slayer build in.

Personally, I'm going to go for converting my Randi's Mind stat into Strength. It won't all transfer, but I'd think end game it'd be at least 200 strength (I don't remember the math). Also Heals on Crits, instead of heals on kills, cause I have no idea how limiting the skill limit is and getting crits leads to kills... EVERYONE is on the Randi train right now. My Ice mage died (to me) when I pulled Randi.

I always equip weak on someone in my party. It is an universal damage increase (for both mages and phy units with elem weapon) that gives me the edge in damage I need to settle the battle before I run out of MP or the boss slaughters me. Best spell. EDIT: I forgot to say, what I normally do is imbue with Primm an element to my phy units (usually Sevia and herself) and then cast weak + add in some spells=profit

I have phantom thief robin, but don't have aim vitals and attack up III cause i don't have skyship lonvalion and beast arks

I have been playing this game for a while now and I'm having a small problem. Even with my arks leveled up it is taking FOREVER to learn the skills. It feels like I'm doing something wrong with how long it's taking

You forgot to include special boost from moonlit murder, it makes all your sct skills deal 50% more dmg at a mere 6SC cost. Aside from that, your video is quite solid. Perhaps you could have included good arks to equip to your units.

Whatability is that you have that's getting all the auto regeneration

So a few things that I thought I'd point out Base Crit Dmg should be a 10% dmg increase after talking to a whole lot of people who were looking into this week 1. 40% total when you add in Aim:Vitals Impacts are very unit dependent, and dont add dmg to the normal attack but instead come as another attack. So units like Sevia who has [Ice Blade Temple] passive will benefit because those extra hits work towards recovering her sct. But Triple Impact is very sc heavy and Impact being only 20% chance is very bad. Also Impact and Double are ~.2% of normal attack dmg and triple is ~.4% normal attack dmg so its not a very large increase. Thats why I'd say you need either very high dmg(Shin) or a passive that benefits from it(Sevia). Also to clarify those %s weren't mods, that was how much of the total dmg those do, so only 20% of what a regular attack would do. Not a big problem but they arent Sct's but skills. Sct is just skill cooldown time, while skills are what you activate You didnt mention it but the mob version of Breaker is Head Bash which scales with the same values but Faints mobs(Effectively Breaking them) Also I'm almost certain the Moonlit Murder ark passives aren't working right now because it came out early

What do you mean by SCT ??

So Auto-Haste (SCT speed up) and Holy Aura (boost equipment attack) are useless/not worthwhile? I haven’t seen anyone use either in game yet but I really would like to see the numbers on them....

Im very new to this game, does the ark effects stacks? Ex: u got a a strengthening passive on one ark, if theres another ark with the same effect as that, does it stack?

so im fairly new to the game. i basically have been logging in to collect daily rewards but im just curious how you go about bouncing between the 4 characters on your team. I get into regular story fights or vortex gate stuff and feel like i have to constantly shift between them to not die. is it better to just focus on one team member and let the rest auto battle or should i keep trying it this way? i appreciate the build guide tho, this was pretty helpful

My issue with this game is getting gear. Haven’t mastered any Arks. And it is taking forever

Very nice guide. Personally I prefer Proud force over the HP pose skill esp on my main dps since I run them with mages. Also I don't have that ark with god slayer on it :( what a bummer

Triple Impact isn't worth it, too much SC for what it does. Surprise and Backstab should be considered mandatory, not end-game, because they're cheap and the damage bonuses they provide is massive. Proud Force is critical because it gives you massive sustain, especially after you grab crit passives and Dual Wield. Finally, near the end of the video you said Randi has dual wield - he does not, only Sevia has innate dual wield.

randy can t-cast his ability and self imbue, that make him a versatile unit as damage dealer..

Thumbnail makes me sad that Randi is so far out of the meta on FFBE :*( I have him at 2900+ ATK with a 2H weapon but his mods are so low he can barely damage the SBBs
