Adding another skill via comments to HM and possibly essential 😅 Forgot to mention the skill AWAKEN you get from lvl 10 Phoenix Blow. It’s 9 SC heavy but the buffs it gives near death are crazyyy. Thank you all for the amazing support 🙏🏻

There’s quick trigger, it can give you one stock of any of your skills (skill 1,2,3 randomize), it’s 6 SC. These videos are useful for everybody thanks!

Regarding fast skills, they are amazing, but there are alternatives. Some limited time arks have contained skills that combine them for better value. For examples look at Happy Halloween, Fast Vacation, and Your Demon Like Way.

- Pride (20% STR) and Ardor (10% Crit Chance) are quite nice if you manage to keep full HP thanks to Proud Force (and/or Moon Saber if you have the Secret of Mana collab SR Ark) - Back Stab & Surprise Attack are great when fighting enemies that lack mobility since you can easily get behind them, they increase the damage output by 20% and 50% respectively. - Special Boots to pair with the Slayers. - Magleon, great for long & medium ranged attacks (Rem gets ~+30% damage for her Skills 1 & 3), but since there is no ranged physical meta units (beside GA Lukiel that already has it in her kit) it is not great currently but good to keep in mind in case it changes. - - - - - - - - - - - (Collab Ark skills) - - - - - - - - - - - - Honey Elixir (Heal & fill all SCT at the cost of all MP but minimum 200 MP) , amazing to support physical damage dealers (Secret of Mana collab SSR Ark unfortunately), great paired with Goddess Kiss. - Power Counter (STR +30% if Special is Full) is nice for long fights but require Secret of Mana collab SSR Ark, the skill might come back on a future SSR / UR ark).

With all the crit ups + Proud Force another good combo is adding in spirit breath (Archangel Smile) because it increases SCT when you regen health. If you're healing a lot with Proud Force it pays off.

Does that proc with proud force? I feel like I've read or heard somewhere those skills act independently..if not then I can see that's a great combo!

@@BoodaFish I haven't done a lot of in depth research on the skills but I notice it in the gameplay. I wish there were more dataminers + people who debunk certain skill functionality. That would make a good video!

One thing I like about this game is the intricacy behind the Arks. I'll admit I stopped playing when I first picked up this game because the Ark shit pissed me off lol. Came back and got into it now I'm learning. Stuck on the story again but I'm gonna kill em :D

I don't know about others, but I personally dislike Critical Ups, in many circumstances. Crit rate is obviously very valuable, but if you kit does not include them its really expensive to build. Those points can go so far. I can get fast critical for 2 points and gives 15% and weapons with crit chance usually give 5-8%. All crit skills 1,2,3, aim vitals and advanced aim vitals = 22points. +15% chance & +80% crit dmg Alternatively you could have raw dmg boosts that also effect non-crits, such as High Sword boost + High Hammer boost = 18 points 55% increase to all dmg and +10% str. Then you also have 4 points to play with. Maybe Ardor for 10% crit chance when full hp, if your using someone that can stay toped up. Maybe basic sword boost for another 10% dmg. It's 2 different ways to build, and I guess its up to the particular unit whether increasing crit or flat dmg is better. My favorite pdps, Rem, doesn't like me to waste points to help her crit side.

I probably should have also prefaced the video by explaining many of these skills come in the benefitted character’s kit...I definitely realize that “general” pools of necessary skills are so hard to nail because of how individual each characters kit is!! Thank you for all this feedback 🙏🏻

Would a crit build be a good for tuskasa and one handed spear is fine if you don't have DW right

@@nicholasfrancois5706 if I remember correctly Tsukasa has a crit cap raise, right? If so, then a crit build sounds ideal. Basically just see if he already has some crit stuff in his kit, if so, continue down that road. And yes, dual wield is best, but if you don't have it, two hand spear is a great backup choice.

honey elixir (completely restore hp and sct for 200mp) + goddess kiss combo. sadly honey elixir is limited to secret of mana collab ark

The updated ideology of this is incorporated in my unit build videos. Specifically PDPS units. Each unit is too specific to try and make general guides like this anymore imo

Is an ark gave like example attack boost II and you switch it and the other gives you attack boost V doesn’t that stack? Like one gives 8% and the other 15% so would it combine? I have both toggled on

The attack ups do stack yes. All “stat ups” stack as well. The only things that don’t stack are in battle buffs with the same icon. So skills like fast brave and auto brave don’t stack. It gets a bit tricky because some skills provide the same buffs as things like “brave” which is the in battle str buff. But you wouldn’t know unless it was pointed out to you. Just keep that in mind as you continue to learn!

I believe attributes on weapons only apply to your REGULAR attacks. Skill attacks have attributes tied to them. Regular attacks are based on your weapons. So usually attributes on weapons don't really matter.

Indeed, skills attributes cannot change with the weapon attribute. The only cases where weapon attribute matter is when your regular attack hit really hard such as Demon Shin when he single wield a sword with a lot of STR and some damage increasing passives such as Sharp Eyes, Holy Weapon, Surprise Attack and Slayers.

@@arckantox4102 I've been curious about making a unit that is a full-on regular attack dps.Seems like there's fair support for it, but no matter whom I've tried it on, it always feels like skill spamming is just better. I don't have Demon Shin, though. Is he one of the few units that can have a solid build around regular attacks? Are there others that regular attacks favor, as well? PS: I am just talking for dps, research builds are obviously a whole different thing.

@@ThatZeroPlays The only other one that I could see work with regular attacks is Beyland since he also has Favored Sword and his Charisma fot the damage cap but he does no come close to Blazablade Shin's STR and damage cap increase from his traits. Maybe Cursed Sword Crestbane can help if you build a lot of MND to get a decent STR boost but only consider it if you first manage to get everything available for regular attack damage increase. I would recommend by order of priority: - Attack Up 1, 2, 3, 4, Max (13 SC) - Slayer + Special Boots (since Killers and Slayer does not stack) (14~15 SC) - Critical Up 1, 2 ,3 (12 SC) - Aim: Vitals & Advanced Aim: Vitals (10 SC) - Sword Boost & Sword High Boost (13 SC) - Proud Force, Pride & Ardor (12 SC) - Holy Aura (9 SC) - Piercing (7 SC) - Triple Impact (11 SC) With that you already go over 80 SC but you can deduce the passives already in the unit's kit. You'll also need the Brave and Critical buffs if they are not already in the kit.

You forgot to mention Holy Aura. It strengthens the equip weapon's damage.

And that factors in to skill dmg as well?? @ThatZeroPlays pointed out why weapon boosts may not be as effective as I thought. Maybe I’ve seen them on a lot of builds because they’re included in the character kits 🤷🏼‍♂️

I recommend Holy Aura when using dual wield. Instead of only dealing %60 with each weapon, your dealing %85 damage with each weapon.

@@Bigmcc83 where exactly did you get that information because Holy Aura seems to strictly increase your stats by 25% of your weapon(s) attack stats

@@Bigmcc83 OHHHH I understand where the confusion may be after rereading. Okay, so the 25% increase is just referring to stats and not to damage output. The damage is still a 60% split with or without Holy Aura. A 25% damage increase would be almost like half a Sharp Eyes with no detriments, and that's just plain broken. Essentially, Holy Aura doesn't exactly do too much for builds unless you got the extra SC to spare to increase base damage.
