Only problem is there is nothing to stop the boxes from flying out on the floor. You need a lip in the front or bungee cords to hold the stuff in.

good looking shelf....i am wondering how the middle , 2x6 maybe 2x8 had the support?

there was holes already in the van supports that were circles. So I used a metal file and filed them all to be squares that were the same size as the bolts. That way I could pass a carriage bolt through the back of the support, then through a 2x4, and then on the front side I tightened it on with a washer , nut and a socket set.

Looks good! I'm thinking about doing something similar. Can you explain how you attached the initial boards to the van supports? Hardware used? Thank You.

Thank you. And ya it was a bit of a pain but there was holes already in the van supports that were circles. @@summit8887 Are all 4 horizontal 2x4's attached to the van wall or just the 2? I was thinking about bringing my shelves out 20" so that I could standup my chip boxes on their side. Thoughts? Have you considered any modifications since your business is growing? Thanks!
