In todays video I show you how i build and assemble tank tracks, it may not be the best way but its my way, ive had a few people ask how I do it so hears the video showing the process

Add some "Hinge" on the poles that have the rotors for the wheels in between the sides/corners....that might work as suspension

Thanks so much! Now I want to build the Maus. And the Ratte. And Bolos. And since there are drones and explosives in the game, I want to build the Goliath- the tiny mobile demolition charge. Maus: Biggest and heaviest tank ever built. Goliath- tiny tracked and armored mobile demolition charge. Who says Germans don't have a sense of humor. Heck, the field kitchens that trail behind vehicles like a field gun are called "Goulash-kanone."

I do indeed know of these tanks, for the size of the tracks it would make a good scale. I will say although the tracks are fairly stable they can sometimes act strangely

Oh, and hint: The width of a tank's tracks should be 80% (4/5ths) of the length of the ground contact area. Too long and narrow, won't steer well, and breaks tracks due to the lack of turning leverage. Can tip over too. Too narrow, rides like a buckboard (hard to aim when the tank is pitching up and down) and won't bridge terrain properly.

how do you repair these if they get damaged and split?

You, pretty much need to grind the track down and rebuild it, unless you can find a way to transport it back to your base

How fast can you set the rotors before the track breaks?

it can go the max speed with no issues to the track

@@quantumchief when I set the speed of the rotors to max it moves the same speed as If I set the rotors to 15. Do you know what might be causing this?

@@Daniel-yv4xi its due to the wheel not having enough friction, i need to design some control wheels with some teeth so they can grip the track better and move it faster
