How to Build the 12th TARDIS in MINECRAFT! (No Mods)

Hey everyone,
In this video, we build the 12th Doctor's TARDIS from Doctor Who in Vanilla Minecraft (no mods). This includes the exterior and the interior, and is a remake of one of my older tutorials. Enjoy!

Great tutorial and I will be sure to tune in to the stream at one point. I've recently been re-watching all the Sarah Jane Adventures and was wondering if you could possibly pull of a tutorial of her house in Bannerman Road?? Also, congratulations on 2K subs; I remember subsribing when you had about 600. (Either way, you deserve about 600,000 more subscrbers than you do. You're so underrated!!!!!!)

I think for now, I might build it as the 7b tardis for eleven, and then once I’ve finished it, I’ll switch it to the twelfth. It seems fair enough for me. I’ll also take a few breaks every now and then as usual. 36:58 - I’m pausing here because I’m going to have dinner soon. And I’ll finish afterwards.

If you can do redstone, I think if u could do a tiny tutorial on how to make the sea lanterns redstone lamps and make it so the light are able to spin around the tardis like in the show

i prefer a mix of old and new -new roundels (excellent design) -new light ring (tinted glass is really good for an off light) -old pillars (you took half of them out for stairs) -old roof (dont sacrifice the roof just cause of the light ring being a lil thick) -both console (its the same thing lol) -new underside walls + old underside lights (think itll look good together) -new stair case platforms to underside (wiiide) -old door way (only difference is the door itself dark oak > iron)

@@robbertbanner4891 I don't really like doing variants, as the really obscure ones are generally pretty similar to the normal interior, and the video probably wouldn't do too well.

Is there a cheaper alternative for the time rotor? That many lodestones can be quite expensive in survival.

id recommend just using this as a template, it shouldn't be too difficult to adjust. I might do a youtube short on it if I get time tho :)

I assume the only changes that need to be made for the series 7b tardis are turning the orange glass to cyan or light blue and removing all the bookshelves

@@DT10 the only thing i'm gonna get stuck on is how to do the corridors for this tardis, cause they have light bars on the side and arches going throughout them, and the junction areas are gonna be a bit difficult to get the right shape to, any chance you have any ideas for how to build them?

@@TheTFChannel It's quite hard to replicate in Minecraft on such a small scale, so what I generally do is mimic the outline of the corridor entrance, but just add lighting to the top block every so often.

I just feel like it works better for this TARDIS, as the rotor is slightly smaller - the effect can look really weird when the rotor is really tall :)

It is easy to follow however on the actual doctor who set it wasn't white the console and roundels where a greeny and you didn't have those awful fake wallpaper roundels

@@icedtea9535 I know it was greeny, but there's no real way to replicate that exact shade in Minecraft, so quartz is actually the most accurate. I'm also pretty sure the original set did have the wallpaper roundels?

I just hope the thirteenth isn’t going to be too difficult. Because last time I struggled with the inner walls, so I had to use the full blocks instead of the stairs.
