nice! I'm about to start building my first cnc gonna use same type of construction for the table, but I was gonna make it about 6" tall this is kinda game changer for me, not only for the less material but the amount of weight i'm gonna save like and follow for you :)

Awesome build man! Definitely will do this with my table. Thank you so much for showing the process. I will also do the holes! I think a possible upgrade to the hole idea would be to run pvc conduit through them to help with running cables through. I will cut out wide openings where cables will drop down through. I’ll just have to see how it goes. Thanks again man. Glad to be a new subscriber!

Thanks for sharing. Have you experienced any issues on the y axis of the dust boot extending beyond the 48” width of the table? I’m waiting for my 1F JM to arrive next month

Hi. Thanks a ton for this video I think it has convinced me to go this same route with mine. You mentioned the dimensions of the table at the beginning. Which model OneFinity do you have? I am having a tough time finding the actual footprint for the X50 Woodworker.

So I built this one in the video for the Journeyman (32x48) with a table of 48x66. My woodworker (32x32) with a table of 48x51 inches.

Nice. But the one from Trade Skillers Anonymous seemed much easier to build.

I built mine much the same however used 3/4 mdf... Unfortunately my table under it allows it to sag and it does. The webbing are still compressing and stretching under tension. Ply would be better. Alternately a 4" inner web may be better but 3" as not enough.

Did you glue it and use one solid piece end to end for your webbing? That's interesting, mine that I built 4 years ago is still straight as the day I made it. Good info, thanks for the comment!

@@ZamoraWoodWorking yep... Glued and pin nailed. We are talking 0.010" deflection.

@@BJHermsen That doesn't surprise me at all, as 3" doesn't provide adequate resistance to the torque loads unless you have a fairly robust support frame beneath it.

I couldn't tell from the video if you glued and nailed on a sheet on both sides of the torsion box grid. So, could you tell me whether you did or not? Thanks.

Yes, there’s a sheet on both sides. I should have taken a better camera angle and shown that. Still learning this whole videoing thing. Hope this helps!
