This is a short demo video to show How to Bundle eSIM Plan to eSUNFi 4G MIFI Router SHFiEL40.
Let's do the following four steps strictly one by one.
1. Download eSIM Manager from Apple store or Google play store.
2. Power on the eSIM Mifi and enter the eSIM manager on the smart phone.
3. Connect eSIM manager to eSIM Mifi via BLUETOOTH, and then scan the QR code(after you buy the eSIM bundle from eSIM data provider, you will get a QR code).
4. Active the eSIM profile, and then REBOOT the eSIM Mifi.
Then, it is done.
Some notes of troubleshooting are as follows.
a) Make sure that this current eSIM plan was not bounded to other smartphone, or other eSIM devices. Otherwise, it cannot be bounded to our eSIM MIFI router device. (PS: By the way, there do exist quite some users already bounded the eSIM plan to their smartphone while they do not notice it, and then tried to bound this exact eSIM plan to our MIFI router device, and naturally it cannot be supported. )
b) Note that if the eSIM plan that is offered by eSIM service provider doesn't include Wi-Fi HotSpot service, then naturally this eSIM plan will be invalid and useless to the router. Router acts as the hotspot to users.
c) It happens that some eSIM service providers designate their own devices or smartphones, and their eSIM plan cannot be compatible to universal device, then it cannot be used. This happens, for example, eSIM plan offered by MOGO provider is only compatible to MOGO's own devices, or Spusu, or HolaFly. These service providers only support their own designated devices. Thus, it is incompatible.
d) If the network environment of users' eSIM plan downloading is not good or reliable, resulting the failure of downloading eSIM plan, it is necessary to make sure that network connection become good, and it will be okay after we re-download the eSIM plan once again.
e) Note that our MIFI router device supports AUTO APN, and it is strongly that our users do not set APN manually since most eSIM plan will support auto APN, unless the service provider asks for manual settings in special rare cases. There always exist different types of mistakes when users attempt to set the APN manually, according to our experience. (In this context, RESET will be the good way to clear the mistake.)
