The CrossFire Pro has been a game changer for our race truck build. I get questions about it all the time, so I made this "How to buy a CrossFire Pro" video to help the guys out there that are just like me. I wanted to get into plasma cuting without a huge investment. There is so much advice about what you should buy and add to this system, but what do you REALLY NEED to get started with quality parts that will work. I tell you what has worked for me for a year.

Hello Mr. NTD, about the casters, when moving the table around it is bound to not be perfectly level. Do you feel that is a problem ?
@ntdracing
@ntdracing 3 жыл бұрын
I do not think so. THC compensates for things not being level. As long as things are kept square, I think you will be good. Watch in the video where I cut into the tube. Cannot get more out of level than that and the cut was good.
@AlessioSangalli
@AlessioSangalli 3 жыл бұрын
@@ntdracing yeah ok but in reality when a four legged item is"level" what it really means is that all four points are on the same plane, that means no bending. I guess a bent frame would not cut square especially on larger pieces. However, it seems according to your experience it shouldn't be a big deal. I love the concept to have everything on casters.

Hey , I figured I should ask your help on this, I have a pro along with the razor weld 45, I’ve been using it for a few months, it was working fine yesterday, I could tell the air wasn’t as strong though coming out the torch however, I haven’t replaced my nozzle and electrode at all which I ordered some parts that will come in tomorrow. That all being said I ordered them because I tried using it today and it didn’t even work, it was like a dry run, no air coming through , idk if that means the air is bad or as in like moisture in the plasma cutter?, would that be a thing, for the last few months I’ve had a little moisture just around where the hose connects to the cutter, I have a filter and I do release the moisture out of it every time I get done using the table for the day. Do u think it in general is not even streaming air because the consumables are bad or there’s an even worse problem that has to do with the cutter. What I’m hoping you’ll say is that the internal computer won’t stream air without the electrode and nozzle firing off from the initial electricity but idk if that’s how it works.
@ntdracing
@ntdracing 11 ай бұрын
If you have used it for a few months on the same consumables, I would say that is most likely your problem. They are easy to remove and inspect. I change them before every high dollar cut.

My razorweld 45 is the most unreliable piece of equipment I own. I’ve ordered a Hypertherm with a machine torch. In addition to being unreliable, Razorweld does not provide any feeds and speeds cut charts, so everything is trial and error till you get it dialed in. Metal is far too expensive to waste experimenting with amperage, airflow, and travel speed. Razorweld, in my opinion, is the worst piece of equipment I’ve ever wasted $900 on. If you’re spending this kind of money on a system like this, why not go with the best?
