Thanks Steve :-) Towpath has been pretty busy with fishermen, walkers, joggers and cyclists etc.... Never mind, it's nice and cool in the boat with side hatch and bow doors open, a nice breeze blows through and keeps it comfortable so I can hide away inside haha. Take care, Mark

Hi Mark, really good advice, but do you know if there is a website when I can search if the boat is stolen, their history and so on? I mean, how can they prove that that boat is 100% legal? Thanks in advance for your comment.

Hi Diego thanks for watching. Good questions, I asked the same when buying the boat myself. In short, there is no proof of ownership, no directory so to speak to check of reports on the boats that I know of. You can search the CRT website for the boat registration number and it will come back with some basic information such as name, builder, year and length etc... Not sure if it would show up if it had been reported stolen though...

Ours was around £650, but don’t forget that on top of that you’ll very probably have to pay £200 / £250 as a slippage fee, to have the boat lifted from the water., so it's best to budget for around £1,000 in total 🍷🍷
