Back in 2008, I had the opportunity to buy 10 defunct homes in Detroit thinking it was my golden ticket.
Only to wake up a year later to a nightmare of condemned properties.
I was convinced by this charismatic person that it was a good idea.
But I found out that I was liable and not only could lose my money, but also get sued by owners in the city for the upkeep.
So I quickly discarded those homes.
Here’s what I learned:
You should only invest in businesses based on what you know.
And for me, that's software.
I knew NOTHING about buying homes and putting them into a rental pool.
That’s why I want to share today’s episode where I reveal our ambitious plan to invest $100M in 2024 and how we're going to buy 12 companies in just 12 months.

This behind the scenes look was very efficient and informative. I'm an educator, so I don't buy companies necessarily, but I hope to run a school and consult in the future. I pulled helpful information from planning for the first 100 days, focusing on people, and pricing. Thank you for sharing this great content!

Hi, I just like to share my story here. I am 25-F and I'm not a newbie in forex trading. March 2022 is when I first started my forex trading journey by depositing $20 on my account which is nearly 1,100 pesos in our currency in the Philippines. I created a habit of 8 hours full time work as internal auditor during daytime and 3 hours of hardwork as forex trader during night time. That 3 hours include watching youtube tutorials on trading strategies, trading psychology and risk management in order to increase my knowledge and gain more experience. I also enjoyed watching vlogs from different successful forex traders from different parts of the world to motivate myself to work harder and smarter. Of course, just like any other beginner forex traders, I blew out my account several times that I couldn't even count. Despite being a loser, I continued my dream and my journey until my hardwork paid off during the first week of July 2022 when I started to become profitable on a daily basis. That is because I have finally decided to set up a traget profit per day and embrace discipline more to make more money. I am able to earn almost 80,000 pesos (nearly $1,450) by the end of 2022. I deposited my earnings straight to my bank accounts: 30,000 pesos (Philippine National Bank), 40,000 pesos (Producers Bank) and the remaining profits stayed on my GCash account (which I used to deposit my capital). I got confident by December 2022 because I'm already earning decent amount of money from forex trading and I also have savings from my salary so I have decided to quit my job and to next pursue my dream to become a Certified Public Accountant by October 2023. Come January 2023, I started off that year with a vision of withdrawing money from forex trading on a monthly basis as a replacement for my salary whilst reviewing for my upcoming board exam on the October of the same year. I am able to balance forex trading and my review on a smooth manner. But that doesn't last long because our family experienced a financial crisis during the last week of January. My father lost his job and my 2 college brothers went back to face to face classes which made our bills unorganized. I shouldered everything starting from our monthly utility bills, tuition fees of my 2 college brothers, monthly dorm rent, my brothers' allowances, food, groceries and even my grandmother's maintenance medicines. Although I'm unemployed by that time, I became the primary provider for our family and that's also the time when I became greedy for money. The need to earn money syndrome hit me and made me trade more and more during the day even though I am studying. Day by day, my profits turn into losses and my savings from previous work slowly got emptied out because of our family's expenses. Stress kicked in and my trading psychology sucked the hell out of me which led me to blow my trading account. But my urge to go back and do revenge trading forced me to gamble my 2022 profits deposited in my 2 bank accounts hoping to get back my money that I lost in forex trading. All I did during February 2023 was to fight arm to arm with forex and to make our family survive each day. I never stopped trading during that time, I even sacrificed my review classes just to break even with forex but unfortunately, despite my efforts to cut back my losses and be profitable again, I lost big time and miserably. Yes, I lost every centavo that I worked hard for during 2022 including my savings for my upcoming CPA board exam. I felt anxious and needy at that same time so stopped trading due to lack of funds and stress. I never know how to start over again, how to support my family anymore and how to get back on my feet again to still pursue my dream CPA title. I felt so lost and empty but I still need to find a way to have some money until one day, I came across online lending apps. I never imagined that these lending apps will lead me to hit my very rock bottom. I thought they will be the one to help me through our family' financial crisis but I am so wrong. One online lending app became three lending apps because I have to borrow from 2 lending apps to pay my first lending app. That borrow here, pay there cycle started to consume me and made me realize that I need to work again. Thankfully, by April 3, 2023, I started to work again for an Australian client-based accounting firm here in Quezon Province, Philippines. I am able to support my family again but because of the high interest rates of these lending apps, my salary is not really enough to pay off atleast 2 lending apps every payday even though I budget everything. By the end of May 2023, my father managed to get a minimum parying job again which made me think that I can really pay off my loans easily but I'm wrong because of these off the charts interest rates and penalties. I have decided to list down my loans and I was so shocked to see that I already have almost 180,000 outstanding debts to these lending apps. Needless to say, I regret everything that I did, my dreams got shuttered and my mental health was put into risk. I really lived off payday by payday. I became extremely frugal to myself as a punishment for what I have done because of my impulsive decisions. I really tried my best to pay off atleast 1 to 3 lending apps every month based on the amount that I can pay them. Paying debts, supporting my family and paying some utility bills were never easy but I am proud that slowly, I am able to decrease my outstanding debts during 2023. But, checking on my list of debts, I still have 123,500 pesos (roughly $2,200) to pay off as of today. Demand letters are slowly piling up, harassing texts and calls are present everyday and collectors are always on schedule in visiting me at my workplace. Now, because I cannot think straight anymore, stress and anxiety ate me so I don't know if I will be able to pay off my ramaining debts anymore. My performance at work is now also affected but there's nothing that I can do but to hold on to the hope that I will be able to be debt-free and happy again in the future. Right now, I don't know what to do or to think anymore, I'm tired actually but I have to fight right? What should be my next course of action? Should I run away from my debts or should I go back to trading again? I don't know anymore...this is all my fault but i'm begging now please help me, any amount will do. Also, please enlighten me...thank you so much. God bless.

Good day to you sir. I want to say a big thank you for all the videos you posted so far on KZfaq. They've been such eye-opening for me. My mindset has literally skyrocketed to the rooftop. Also, all the books you've mentioned are already on my reading list for this year- though I once had them in the past. I am already reading ' Never Eat Alone'. I am reading this book currently and am really flying on eagle wings. This is me saying God bless you and have a blissful year ahead.

Step 1: have 100 million dollars or the family / friend connections who have 100 million dollars just lying around to give to you, alternatively, have a down-payment of several tens of millions of dollars and be childhood friends with the bank executive who is in charge of approving a 100 million dollar loan

What about the aboriginal outlaws or the ones the were supposedly brought here in ships? How do we throw these chains off and break the spell work of the codes and statues. Especially without losing our life for asking for equity?
@Night_Hawk_475
@Night_Hawk_475 2 ай бұрын
It's not fair, it's not right, it's not good, but it's honest - the real answer to "How do we get equity by asking for it without losing life/culture" is you don't, you just don't. You can keep your life and your culture, and you can get equity, but it's not by asking for it. It's by taking it. Real equity, for entire populations, it is earned, not gifted. It's the system we all live in. It's just the fact of life, and unfortunately whether you like it, or whether I like it, it doesn't matter, it just is.

The strategy to invest based on what you know is crucial, and it's great that you're sharing your experience. Entrepreneurs should always conduct deep market research and due diligence before acquiring a company, especially looking into the customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) metrics to ensure the investment aligns with their growth strategies. Remember, it's not just about the numbers, but the fit with your existing business ecosystem.

Anything that makes you money you should be present the whole thing of finding something you are really enjoy is clichè and isnt entirely true mostly because once you reach 9 figures you mos likely arent hands on in the business basically the thrill leaves and its about out doing the next person for me its about money and monopoly doing whatever it takes to reach the top @@danmartell

This is literally featured in Parks and Rec. When Tom decides to start a business of his own, he asks Ben for help, and he draws up a plan for a chemical supplier for laundromats, but Tom decides to go for the restaurant. Going for the restaurant is highly risky, but it's the more exciting passionate job. You've gotta ask if you want your passion in your work or if you want money to fuel your passions outside of work
