The same instructions he showed us also works on a focusPro 6000. Push the Fan button and the up arrow button at the same time for a few seconds. Then hit the button underneath the word "next" until the number 27 appears on the screen lefthand side. 27 is for heat mode. Push the up arrow button until the temperature stops at 90. Then hit "next" again to get number 28 on the screen. 28 is for cooling. Push the down arrow button until the temperature stops at 50. Then hit "Done". Now the temp limits are at 90 for heat mode and 50 for cool mode.

God bless you Sir! It's 80 degrees in the house that I am renting and this thermostat has a limit of 70 degrees for cooling. That should be against the law, because they don't allow us to purchase air conditioners and I pay my own electric bill. Thanks for the helpful info! I have a different Honeywell thermostat w/ 3 buttons across bottom, & this override worked on my unit too. With the 3-button unit, the Center button is the one to hold in Step1 with the Up arrow. My left button is a scheduler. Just clarifying in case others have a 3 button model. So glad I can finally use AC to suck out humidity, even when the temp is below 68. :) Thanks for this. That restriction was driving me nuts

Works!!!!!! Thank you so much. I was 2 hot last summer and hated this limit. Now I will be cool again. I complained to my air conditioning service tech and he said there wasn't anything he could do and it was put on there so I wouldn't freeze up my air conditioner. Before this thermostat, I controlled my air conditioning for 12 years and never had a problem. Ur the best!!!!!
