Thanx for the explanation! Being a beginner, I was curious, can we write codes to determine the Cyclomatic Complexity from a complex source code or is it usually calculated manually?

Since cyclomatic complexity is calculated from control flow graphs (flow charts) made from a specific piece of code, unfortunately, it has to be calculated manually. I'm glad you liked the video!

In the second example with the formula CC = number of regions + 1. Does an "and condition" in the if change the number of regions? For example: n = 0 if n > 0 and n % 2 == 0: n = 5 else n = 1 Would the number of regions still be 1? CC = 1 + 1 = 2

In this scenario you have to count it as 2 because it is Compound conditional statements.
