You probably heard in comment already that the guy that wants to decals deserve so much of reduced rate, in my opinion, I'd be pleased to think that you did that and you are going to experiment with decals so... I believe you would have to know sooner or later to be fully operative.

A thought ...... testing the clear on the decal for a light coat would help you to see if it would run the vinyl. Some do some don't. I guess it depends on the paint and the vinyl ink too. Anyway just a thought. I sure would hate to have to start that tank all over myself. I've had good success with clearing decals. Emblems are quite different. Many decals have a clear over the ink ......... anyway well done.

I’ve been wanting to paint the tins on my Harley and I’ve been watching a ton of videos on painting, I like that color candy red you chose, that’s what I think I’m leaning towards. I’d like to spray it over metal flake and do some designs as well but I think I might be biting off more than I can chew unless I take my sweet time doing it carefully. Also, have you used the House of Kolors show clear before? I’m wondering if that stuff is actually that good. Anyways, great video! You got yourself a new sub! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

1st of all beautiful job! So, I have a few questions..I tried clicking on the link to your paint gun & the link is no good! Can you tell me the best most reasonable paint gun to buy for painting anything but especially a motorcycle. We have a standard honda cruiser & thinking about painting it. My husband loves candy red & the one you did here is one of the most beautiful & looks more simple in application than other's I've seen. How much do you think we need to buy & what do we buy? I clicked on the link but it has up to a gallon & then it has with it a reducer or something like that! I'm a complete newbie so how much to paint 1 motorcycle do you need with a little extra & what all do I buy? I want the good quality gloss or high gloss as you explained as well. Also, if we want it to really shimmer would we add flakes & if so what type & do I buy those extra & how much do we buy? Also, do you mix that in with the metallic top coat or what step do you apply the flakes? Sorry for all the questions but you're really good at explaining things & I want to save as much $ as I can!! Hey brother can you make a video on a Texas fade paint job?

I hate painting on hooks or hanging always scared I'll get a run. gas tanks try to let the clear dry for like 15 to 20 minutes before putting second coat on because of the roundness of it.

Nice looking color, but hopefully you discussed the not adding the logo/decal with the customer before not doing it.....and no wet sanding???

You go straight to base coat after epoxy with no sanding 2k primer

Hey bro! Im from portugal, and i cant find that "heavy silver metalic" liquid diamond... its like what? Like a normal silver but with a touch of gloss or something?

You do AWSOME paint work my friend! Is that candy concentrate you mix into the intercoat IC-100? I read on urechem's website they don't recommend making colors from their candy concentrates but it looks like you have no problems at all with it. Any information you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated.

If you wanted to use a red metal flake ( big flakes ) would you put the flake down first in place of the silver metallic, fill it with clear binder and sand the peel out until smooth then apply the candy color then clear it ?

you coul,d spray the stick th the three coats of silver and use that stick to stirr the candy red, and verify the color by watcging the stick...

How level was the clear? Would it be extra nice to wet sand with 600 then put on a final wet coat of clear, or is that just overkill?

I was always told to only spray one direction with paint especially metallics so it "flops" right. does it really matter. your stuff looks awesome and i don't see color differences or shades.

Why do you use so many different paint guns in your videos. Can you explain in a video about what guns are best for which applications? I onlt have an iwata and I don't even know what size tip I have in it.

Excellent job. Quick question, any trouble with overspray with parts hanging so close together, or the product still wet and no problems? I’m a furniture lacquer painter and overspray is always a trouble.
