Then why everyone sends 424 in inf phal instead range if you want to extend the walk times as much as possible? I can't get that. Especially when most people defend in range and, as you mentioned, in that scenario walk times are the longest.

​@@Schrupywacz I wouldnt say "everyone" sends a 424 with inf phal, I think thats a very false generalization. I tend to see more 866 or 659 for mixed attacks than 424s, but the answer is easy. For the defender, you want to avoid the travel time, as you usually have the damage guaranteed if you have a good comp. Thats a no brainer, you want all the time you can get hitting. For the attacker, is not all about travel time, is also about your stats and what troops you boost. A 424 with inf phal guarantees that inf and cav will go first, and those are the two troops you will boost in stats. With inf phal, when both fall, you need to move to the back of battlefield to reach the range. In a 424 if you put the range first it will fall very quickly and all the troops will clash in the middle of the battlefield. No travel time on retargets (except siege). And you risk with the enemy using inf phal which will put you in a bad spot. So range phal vs range phal, gives the defender a longer walk, higher damage for the defender as range drops fast, Is not good for any of the sides. Range phal vs Inf phal , best scenario for the defender. Inf phal vs Range phal, best scenario for the attacker. Longer walk and range in the back. Inf phal vs inf phal. Regular scenario. Best for both. So answering your question, when you use range phal in attack you are never in a good spot with 424, and while in defense travel time is the key, in attack its not always the case. @@LeluMarc Thank you for explanation but unfortunately it didn't clear things up. Probably because I am lacking experience, did some testing with my alt but it's not the same as real action for sure. For example, what I've noticed is that vs 424 in inf phal its good to have cav lined up in one line so each cav squad attacks different inf squad, that resulted in the killing the front the fastest with very clean retargeting. So range phal and also inf wedge worked very good despite longer walk time and that actually makes sense to me. Its the opposite to what you said thats why I have a mindfuck cause you are the experienced one and I know you are probably right cause you've seen it and it's me who can't understand. Some things from my tests definitely cover up with what you said like 424 in range phal gave defender the highest damage (also can't get my head around why). But I guess it's too complex to discuss it in yt comments. Thank you for trying tho.

The three pack 5 fams maybe make 300k of damage when they are activated vs maxed accounts. They do not make so much damage as you think.

@@LeluMarc that can't be possible, they depend on the initial troop count of a certain troop type and it can't be less than what a rally would do in wow for example

@@TheMightyNuub They are not troop type specific. They activate from losses of the total amount, go check the game. They proc all three at the same time.

@@TheMightyNuub Then, your statement is not well made. They depend on the attack of a specific troop type, not "the troop count". I mean... what you said is pretty... different xD. I am not even following you at this point to be honest even with your WoW argument, or what are your intentions. Mixed gears for rally traps tend to be quite balanced so... as a rally trap myself that has mythic gear, army heroes and the three fams, I can tell you that they tend to do 300-400k deaths when they are activated vs maxed accounts.

@@ElijahLordsmobile If it's like that, I can only add, your research counter must be maxed out and if you can use a familiar that doesn't have to wait for troops to die first then activate,You can wear familiars like pyris,evil weevil,territe,and aquiris. That's just my basic input, the rest just depends on each gear's stats.
