16:52 what you said about his ranged not being killed first and being a bad situation if you were in cavalry phalanx is EXACTLY what happened in my replay! His ranged troops were barely touched (only in the beginning when my ranged troops attacked his) but all my t2 cavalry got wiped out during fight, which is obviously because his ranged troops survived.

hey duck, yesterday i got rallied with a 820 and they were in inf phal, i took it in cav phal, did i choose the right phal or maybe inf phalanx/cav wedge was better?

Hey, I took a few rallies from pan as well. Didn’t do as well as you but hopefully I will now knowing some of this. Idk if you’re part of NW8 but the rally leads there were very upset when I capped them to say the least 🤣

1 diff between inf phal and inf wedge is that in inf wedge after half your t2 is gone they will start hurting your t4

A much needed video i have been waiting for, i had 18m troops with 530+ mix stats still i got burned by a max account. i asked myself many times where did i go wrong, thanks to you i got my answer today i always have to watch at 0.75 to understand, i would love to see subtitles if possible

15:56 Wow, this formation and comp is identical to the last time I was rallied...except I was in cavalry phalanx! My opponent was slightly weaker than that maxed PAN196 account (162 castle stars /923 artifact levels), but he also used 424 ranged phalanx. I only had 16.2m troops (3.3m of which were t4) compared to your 28.8m and he crushed me - I lost over 4m troops while he only lost 1.1m 😟 Paradoxically, infantry phalanx might be the answer!

What about the impact of siege on siege from the wall being up? If you kill enough of their siege while the wall is up, no walk-back right? Seems like the bigger problem was the inf not getting there faster.

Siege will only target siege after the range is dead.

idk why exactly im a small rally lead not a hard hitter but even with the hard hitters ive noticed that range wedge always gives the most trouble of any formation

who if not you! I am trap 800 m half champ 28m troops t4 2.2m x3 t2 8m 10m 5m. tell me what's better - do research for 70 might or leave the troops for 70 might? research debuffs -10 army attack -10 army hp? Debuffs is from all1000% - 100 or only 10 from army stats ?

I I want to stay 800m might so I have to delete troops :/ but the advantage is that fewer troops will attack more often... but will my defense still be the same? better ? worse ?
