I'm in the Caribbean, I put mine in a huge pot, it's on my covered patio. I realize it love bright shaded light. It's beautiful. Oh I water 💧 once weekly or every 2weeks sometimes

Hi , I am not sure if you are going to answer this or not but I will greatly appreciate if you do. My plant is almost 3 feet tall and it's huge. I planted in a huge pot but still it kind of falling with the weight. I tied with a rope to keep it straight. Should I trim it or what should I do to keep it straight?

I would put a bamboo stake next to it. And tie a string, if need be, or let her lean on it. Bamboos are really affordable and comes in varieties or lengths. So she can grow either it, if you decide to get a 4ft or 5ft one. She must be very beautiful.

Help me with mine... please. I moved it from the window and grow light. What else can I do? It looks so bad, yellow leaves, droopy leaves.

What direction of light was she getting? When did you move her? Make sure she is tight in the pot. Can handle only plant lights, north, east and not close to a west. South will burn her, it will be too intense. Yellow with brown tips? Or just yellow from the petiole?

Mostly direct light from plant light. About 3 or 4 days ago I moved her. Not in a tight pot. Only 2 or 3 stems. Yellow leaves with brown tips. I can send you a picture if that helps.

It’s takes me sooooo long for the new leaves to grow. I’ll get 3-4 new ones and lose 2-3 of those. My north facing window is shaded with big trees. Do you think I should take it outside on the warmer days to help it get light or would I be better off moving it to different areas throughout the day?

North might be too dark for her. Do you have an east? One of mine sits About 10ft from a bright east window. 2 only gets plant lights. The one at the east, does get more growth. Tell me how or why you lose your leaves? Type of soil you have?

@@NatashaHarper Yes- I’m going to try the east again. This is my first year with my plant- it did really good last summer when I first got her but when the winter came and sunlight lessened, it was a struggle to keep the leaves from dying. I use the miracle grow indoor potting mix. The leaves would turn yellow tbh I think I may have watered too much.

Yes, you have watered her a bit much. Miracle gro soil retains a lot of moisture. Just make sure she isn't still wet before you water. The more light she gets, the more often you will water. If you placed her close to a north facing window, she will be needed to be watered much less especially versus an east window. North is the darkest and shorted amount of light out of all 4.
