In this video I show the process of casting a ring. I use 999 fine silver in the video, but you can cast a ring out of copper, gold , brass, or any other material using the same process. I use delft clay to cast the ring and I melt down the silver in an Electric Furnace. If you are wanting to learn casting a ring from start to finish then this is the video for you! Casting a ring at home is easier than you think if you follow the steps correctly. I am getting better at casting and I think that I will try other materials in the future. Casting a ring in gold or casting a copper ring will require more heat. If you are casting a wedding ring then you will need to take more time on the mold to get it correct.
