For really large Octopus , try fishing Puget Sound on the north west coast of the U.S.A....It has the largest in the world. But you're going to need a bigger fork .....

cuoredicioccolato ... awe. Thank you. Now I know why they are so expensive in the store. I have them in oil now so they will sit for 3 weeks, but I tasted them in each step. Yummy! I tested some in my smoker. Wow!!! Delicious! (But expensive because I use wood chips). I want to try them outside but how do bird & animals not destroy them?

Really ingenious and fantastic. Thank you for showing us your talent and skills. Very interesting. Keep up the good work. My father was a Fisherman. Orginally from Sardignia then back in late 40's came to teach crayfishing techniques in Port Nolloth and Walvis Bay - Namibia ( Previously South West Africa) on consignment from the then SA Government. He taught me fishing when I was very young and have since never stopped. Over the years I have collected an arsenal of fishing reels, rods, equipment and even a boat or two. The octopus here in South Africa in the False Bay Area and off Cape Point areas can get up to monster sizes. Beautiful to eat if you know how to prepare to correct way. My father always used to make it the traditional Sardignian style. There are so many ways.
