Saint clair river after mothers day (lilac bloom) gurentee the best shore walleye fishery in michigan. I do love the saginaw river aswell.

Menomonie River Michigan by far best shore walleye fishing. They go in to spawn after ice melts. You'll pull out 30in walleye one after another. Can only keep one a night. Worth the drive.

do you have problems with the smaller guides icing up in cold weather with the avid x? im torn between avid, avid x, and g loomis e6x. thanks for your vids. theyre awesome!

The guides definitely can ice up, especially when using braid in cold weather. I have a couple legend elites that have slightly bigger guides and I absolutely love them. They’re a bit pricey but I’d definitely recomend them. I’m glad you enjoy the videos!

No problem, I’d check out Veterans Memorial Park in Bay City. Plenty of shore access and the fishing is generally pretty good there.
