Forgot to mention though that you don’t want to use the ones that are NOT molting. The best ones for fishing are the ones that are molting. They shed their exoskeletons and become soft. Those are the ones fish love to eat. The hard ones don’t get as many bites. Also, you should throw back the ones that are carrying eggs. You can tell they have eggs when they have an orange slime in their underside and between their legs.

@M_xed5 жыл бұрын
At low tide/high you can catch a bunch like pompano which is there liking but it has to be at low tide to a sandbar but a bit behind where the surf crashes and a carolina rig with a hook and a 2-3 oz. sinker depending on what waters you're at with a stiff rod with no braided line and yes it is surf fishing but if you wanna test your luck do it on a dock. Anywhere on the beach where it is available. Also here is a list of what I know you can catch with it whiting, pompano, inshore black drum, red drum, sea mullet, croaker, sheepshead, striper, flounder. Also you can try it near structures i'm not too sure if thats where they like it but I heard it's good for sand fleas.
