The birds are barn swallows. They're very beneficial, especially at keeping the mosquito population down.

@@edwardhood8022 Purple Martins will typically build their nests out of straw, twigs, and pine needles were as barn swallows nest is a cup of mud pellets lined with grass and feathers, built under eaves of buildings, resting on a beam or some projection in barns, under bridges, in culverts, or occasionally in a niche on a cliff. Therefore I think the nests you are looking at are barn swallows nests.

They're not beneficial when they're pooping all over your feed and bails. To us they're pests and we keep them under control with airguns. The bacteria can knock out our livestock, especially our younger animals. Besides, they're government spies.

Was watching an old video and you said send us your recipes. Try marinating (just a few hours or overnight) your venison cube, steaks, backstraps,tenderloin in a zip lock with a bottle of zesty Italian dressing and Lipton’s onion soup shaken up well before you put your venison in. Flour and fry or cook on grill. Enjoy your wholesome show. Am hooked and am one of your “HAPPY PEOPLE”! Realize it is not deer season but it will be here before you know it.

Those are cliff swallows. Barn swallows are blue with white underbelly and make a cup nest (open top). Cliff swallows are dark tops with white underbelly and make these wholly-enclosed mud nests with opening. Let them fly and eat up all the skeeters flying around you - and you will be appreciative of swallows.

Awesome video brother thanks for bringing us along the birds that you were inquiring about our called barn swallows. And one of the best places you could possibly fish for catfish where you are is right there under that bridge the catfish are always looking for a meal and they've caught on to the droppings from the bird's nest and a few times every now and again those Catfish get lucky and eat one of those birds when they hit the water drop your bait straight down below those nest you will hook a 100 lb catfish

Something tells me that you are 100% being truthful and then some. Because there are certain breed of gators / crocs that do the same thing by waiting under trees where a large flock of birds nest but sometimes get a treat of fallen / kicked young ones. Thanks for sharing the info.

My mom and dad called them Chimney Sweeps. Mom always said that when you knocked down the nests from under the porch you had to sweep up the mess.(hence the name Chimney Sweeps)
