In this video I show Florida fishing at its finest and for how to catch pompano fishing tips. We are surf fishing florida down in the florida panhandle fishing specifically Pensacola and Navarre. I use you my best surf fishing rigs, best bait, and best surf fishing rods and reels to land black drum, redfish, even pompano using these fishing tips. Great video, 👍 got on a Slab this past weekend , fishing 🎣 the Destin area, water was dirty ,had to weed threw the Catfish, but at the end of day, I ended up with 1 15 incher & 2 12s pompanos & 3 whiting, I figured I could catch one those slabs coming out of the bay and into the gulf running the beach ⛱ and it paid off, I want to give you Thanks for all the tips ,and the knowledge that you share with us ,,and by the way all my fish 🐟🐟🐟🎣🐟🐟🐟 were caught using Winn Dixie shrimps 🍤 Fishbites / FishGum sandflea scent,, Stay Safe God Bless,,,,

The pomps went on the grill ,whole butterfly salt & pepper for about 10 minutes brush them down with Kerrygold Garlic herb butter ,foil on top for about 5 minutes skin down,, done, pull back bone right out,, the Whiting were pan fried , I used Louisiana seasoned crispy Fish Fry , I hope that gives you some ideas,, Stay Safe God Bless 😋

Hey brotha, what lb shock leader do you run on your rigs? I am running 20 lb braid with the 11 ft ninja dagger, throwing 3oz and 4oz weights-- do i need like 30 or 40 lb mono for shock leader?> Thanks as always!

I didn’t use shock leaders I don’t think they are necessary on spinning gear if you have good casting techniques.

On my conventional reels I use 10x the strength of the weight of braid on top of my 17lbs main line. For instance a 4oz weight I use 40 lbs shock leader. There’s another KZfaqr down here Justin Reed Fishing that swears by them, but I’ve just never used them.
