What are you using for the axels? It looks like heavy tubing instead of the solid aluminum ones everyone sells. I just got my first set of balloon tires and waiting on second to arrive and need axel ideas.

Look up surf fishing solutions out of Jacksonville Florida on Facebook he did all this work for me and I believe you’re right it’s solid axels. He will know what tires you have and what size axles you need and the kit to install them

Why not use real sand fleas? Won’t stay on the hook? Is it legal to just scoop up some sand fleas from the beach and use them? Never salt water fished at all, headed to Sarasota this weekend.

Glad you like it. The KZfaq game has really changed and rewards people who sell a bunch of stuff. Surf fishing is one of the easiest ways to fish and people really over complicate it. Hope you catch a bunch of fish. Tight lines. -Jesse

Nice video. Im thinking about coming down to Sebastian. Are you only catching them during the cooler months or during the summer months also? When i lived up north we used to catch them all summer in the bay but they call them fluke up there. Please let me know if i take a trip down in july ill have a chance at catching them in the inlet. 4:32 the two pad eyes you snapped caribeaners to are for the back seat straps... NEVER DRILL HOLES INTO THE KAYAK DECK! The silicone is useless and turns yellow. If you must add pad eyes, put them on the gunwales (gunnels) at least a few inches above the deck. Spray paint won't stick to the plastic for long and you'll get paint chips on everything. Trust me I did this a while back. "Map Pockets" Props on the @finfactory sticker! Nice set up!

Most people don’t even have a cart so the fact that you have a basic cart to go surf fishing is a very good start and people that pay thousands of dollars for surf guards are idiots. Get one that suits your needs and that’s all you need my friend.

Ok, the only thing that looks “better” on the five is the Slammer type drag. My 8500 vi has 30 lbs of drag, more than enough. So is the v better? I don’t think so. Better value for the money, probably.
@user-lw5il2bw2jАй бұрын
Actually I was wrong. In the 8500 series the vi has 40lbs of drag and the v only has 35 lbs. So the vi is better.

I like your video. We think alike! I tried using rigs without swivel and snap. I lost more sinkers and had more line twist. Swivels and snaps are only 2 cents ea or less when bought directly from China (Aliexpress or Temu), so why skip them? Besides, I reuse whatever doesn't get lost while fishing, so cost is even less. Many times all I need is new line and a quick resharpen of the hooks, to retie a rig. Seems I am forever reusing snaps and swivels. I keep a resealable waste bag when surf fishing. I toss all the used rigs in there and break em down once home. I am only throwing away the line many times and I am not littering the beach. Again, really good video, and what I like about you is that you aren't selling like the other fishing youtubers! Tight lines!!
@SlotCityFishing2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. I use snap swivels on every rig just showing. You don’t need them.
