I’d love to see some fishing without live bait.. Do you have insights to share on artificial tactics?

In the spring we use live bait because generally it works better. We did a vid last year using both smelts and spoons and caught a few salmon on spoons, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nNubqNJn1ZbYe6M.html Also we did a brown trout vid that we could only catch them on spoons. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jN2cZ619q8XYeqs.html There is another video ( small pond for brook trout and browns) that I out fished Eric with spoons kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r76ep7hiz7Snmqs.html We will try to get some more content out that deals with spoons. Which size dodgers preferred?

That really depends on how deep the fish are running and how deep we are fishing. We prefer in this case the shallower in the water column your fishing the lighter the Dodger. Before changing Dodger weights we try changing the distance behind the boat we are trolling.
