No cleaning/lube on the sliding pins, no lube/cleaning on the area where the pads slide in the bracket, no brake clean on the rotor, no loctite on the bracket screws. And this is why I do my own brakes...

This video leaves out a lot of important things: pad-caliper contacts lubrication, anti-seize grease on the hub, silicone grease on the sliders, torquing the bolts...Also, not sure here, but when pushing the calipers in, shouldn't have checked the brake fluid reservoir and remove some excess fluid?

The video seemed to miss some important things. Like copper grease to stop squeaks. Also cleaning the new brake discs to remove oil applied for transit and storage of the discs. Also checking or possibly removal of brake fluid to prevent overflow when pushing piston back into calipers. Squeak maybe trapped rust or just because not lubed correctly.

How lucky he was that brake disc wasn't stuck solid as in my case in particular the rear ones. Having since seen various videos on KZfaq with guys that have had the same issue, it's great to see how they removed them. I think the guy in this video should have greased the contact points. That's what I have done in case I need to remove/ replace if I still have the car.
