thank you but one thing, whenever i open it it always notifies me thst the shortcut was a success and it gets annoying sometimes

Here’s what to do if that happens you can go to the short cuts home page press the button that says “automation” then “create personal automation” and scroll till you see something that says “app” and it should already have the “is opened” button selected choose the app you made a shortcut for then press “next” then on my screen it has a search bar I typed in “nothing” and clicked the first thing that popped up after that press the “next” and then the “done” button now try opening the app again and the little thing shouldn’t pop up anymore. When youre done with the previous shortcut click done on top to get out and make a new one using the new app

*Remember not to delete the original app! This app just acts as a replacement or “cover up” for the actual app. If you delete the app, you can risk losing all your progress and the fake app you made will no longer work.

I’m so glad I could help all of you! For me all I do is go into edit mode, click on the minus sign next to the app, then click move to App Library to hide it!

it doesn't duplicate the apps, it just creates a shortcut. you won't fill up your storage. there's 2 icons but there's only 1 app.

How do you customize the big widgets? Like the ones that can show ur battery percentage or calendar etc.

I use color widgets or Widgetsmith. There’s a lot of customization tools and it’s really easy to learn, but if you can get stuck, there’s a tutorial in almost every iPhone customization video :)

I think you forgot to press the ‘+’ I once. Accidentally put all the shortcuts on one file and then when I finally tested it out it went into all the apps at ONCE! so always press the plus mark when you’re done with an app.

My iphone when i did make the shortcut thing, it just duplicates from one app to the other, for an example, i made an netflix icon and i type netflix aswell, and when i made pinterest an icon and i type pinterest, they just duplicate netflix becomes pinterest and pinterest just stays like that, i just wish there was another way to customise the app icon😔
