I did this on my katana artist mkii today. Actually you don't need to take the speaker out. Just undo the four screws in the front and 4 nuts in the back, and the front plate should come off. The screws holding the BOSS and katana badges are not connected to the plate that holds the speaker.

Thanks mate, I had to dissemble mine to remove mould and your video really helped. One thing - it seems to me the speaker and amp need to be removed all because of the one bolt that can't be accessed without... And it doesn't serve much purpose as the 4 screws hold the grill on anyway... So I left that nut off when putting it back together, so next time I can take the grill off without taking the rest apart if that makes sense... 100w mkii btw... Anyway cheers from Australia

I think the painted cloth you added looked great. Did you paint it yourself, or was it a print you purchased?
