You forgot to get some of the brake fluid out of the reservoir before compressing the piston.

Why do you put grease all over the pads???? There is no movement on them, they are not mobile, they are fixed. Maybe you can use grease on the piston behind where the pads are inserted, but definitely, I don't recommend them to have grease. You don't run 550mph to keep them cool!

Hi thank you for sharing that tip, I have just been taught to place it all over that side of the brake pad since my first time I changed my brakes, so i have just continued to do that

You'd be surprised how many mechanic shops put grease all over the back of the pad. The corners are what slides as pads wear so I only lube the corners and the spring that holds the pad inside the piston. Never had squeaky brakes.
