How to change cabin filter - Renault GRAND SCENIC 3 pollen filter location and replacement

Follow the video to check the pollen filter location and to see how to change the cabin filter on Renault Scenic 3. In this video, we change the cabin filter on a Grand Scenic 3 and it is located down, by the feet area on the side passenger side. To see the pollen filter location you can click here 2:25
You don't have to remove the glove compartment to change the pollen filter, but it can be a little bit tricky since you'll be working in a tight space. In this example, we removed the glove compartment to have a better shot for the camera so everybody can see it clearly.
You can see how dirty this cabin filter was when we removed it and why it is important to change it regularly.

great video . I recommend not buying the cheapest cabin filter, but a filter that filters super fine dust and bacteria (PM2.5) for example, Mann Frecious Plus - FreciousPlus Biofunctional cabin filter. Active carbon filter with polyphenol. With antibacterial action. With fungicidal effect. Particulate filter (PM 2.5). MANN FP 27 009 is forf SCENIC gen III.

Hello thanks for the video, is the heater resistor in the same place as the pollen filter? I was driving my scenic 3 the over day and my heater stopped blowing thanks.

@Mr-Noobs Hello, glad you like the video. We are not sure exactly where the heater resistor is located but we think it is somewhere near the fan blower. Fan Blower should be above the pollen filter compartment. Good luck!

Hi , i have a problem with keyless sensor on left door ,dont work, an now dont work for all doors... this sensor can replace or something? Thanks

The sensore can be replaced, but maybe the problem is not in the sensor. Problem can maybe be in a reflecting material on the door handle which is across the sensore. You can test that by putting some aluminum foil on the inside of the handle and then putting the hand to check if it unlocks. Does you tailgate open automaticaly? on right hand drive car will it still be under the glove box..i.e left side of the car or will it be on the right side..i.e by pedals

@Ali Tanrioven Hi. Fuses on Grand Scenic 3 are placed behind the storage compartment on the left side from the steering wheel and there should be a fuse for lights. Another place where you can find fuses is under the hood, they are placed on the right side from the battery. Best wishes to you as well in the upcoming year and we hope you will solve your problem.

On right hand drive cars, go to Renault dealer, pay £35 and let them do it. The filter costs £25! No brainer. 🤔

@@BrendanExplores Hi.. I got same price from Renault Wigan... Rang Renault Bolton and got £35..that was about 2.5yrs ago though. I think different franchise. Wigan is Arnold Clark.. I think Bolton independent. Hope this helps...?

Is the filter replaced on the drivers side in the UK cars as I have just taken all the panels out of the passenger side and there is pipes air con this side and can't see any access to a panel,😢

@@I2383R Yes, uk is drivers side. Clutch Pedal is in the way, so you may have to remove. See youtube vids for how to do it.

I’m pretty sure you can do RHD without taking anything off. It’s in the same place.

@@caminara that's confusing, the other watcher asked about the rhd and the guy told him that his pretty sure the filter will be on the "pedal " side,so not where the glove compartment is.The other guy replied " u have to remove clutch pedal " to change the filter on the rhd.Are u absolutely sure the filter on the rhd is in the same place as this video shows? I wanna change it myself and have rhd so would be pissed if did all that and the filter wasn't there!

@@igotmigraine on these cars the RHD is slightly modified from the LHD. for example the glove compartment is smaller because the fuse box is in the way and the brake pedal is routed from the driver to the left hand side where it would normally be. They wouldn’t change where the cabin filter is. I’ve done one before and while tricky, I didn’t have to remove the pedal.
