Does this help with the cranking noise? I bought a used m3i and wondering if I need to change the belt

Thanks for your question! There can be some noise associated with a dry or older belt. To determine where the noise is coming from remove the drive belt from the pulleys. Then spin everything independently. Starting with each pedal individually, then the crank. If you find no issues there try the idler pulley and the flywheel. While spinning each I try to put pressure at different angles to create variance like when the bike is ridden. If you feel any grinding or hear any noise you have found your issue.
