OK. Here are some of the mistakes you can spot in this video: 4:38: Use a NEW rotor retaining screw. Do not reuse the old one. Use a TORQUE WRENCH to tighten it (to 10Nm). 5:59: Use a TORQUE WRENCH--not a breaker bar!--to tighten the rotor bracket bolts (to 115Nm). 6:14: Before pushing back the piston into the caliper, CONNECT A FITTING HOSE TO THE BLEEDER VALVE, THEN OPEN IT TO CATCH THE BRAKE FLUID THAT WILL ESCAPE AS YOU PUSH THE PISTON IN. Pushing old brake fluid back into the system can compromise the ABS. Moreover, if you have at least opened the brake reservoir cap (which is not shown), you risk increasing pressure in the brake system to a point where you cause further damage. 7:10: Before installing new pads, LUBRICATE their edges with brake paste/Ate plastilube. Also, when using aftermarket pads (as shown here) that don't have anti-rattle spacers like the OE parts, it is advisable to apply brake paste to the backs of the pads as well. 8:18: Use a TORQUE WRENCH to tighten the caliper sliding bolts (to 25 Nm). Please, before performing such repairs, let alone posting a "tutorial" like this, make sure that you know how to perform the service properly. All necessary information can be found in WIS (workshop information system) by MB.

I didn't find a single TORQUE WRENCH wich covers torque ranges (10Nm to 115Nm).. shall I buy two? the one I found is 10-115ft/lb ~(13.5Nm~203Nm)

Who ever heard of putting a torque wrench on a retaining screw? I had great advice from a man I considered a master mechanic years ago. He worked on everything from race cars to Volkswagens to V12 Ferraris He said the only things you really need to torque are head bolts and transmission parts I can assure you a professional would NOT go around with a torque wrench on all of these fasteners although I might try to look up the spec for the 19 mm bolts. But if I don't find it a little Loctite and tightening it with the breaker bar is good enough for virtually everyone. Just as they showed you in the video I think they did a great video and unlike a lot of these KZfaq videos they went into detail. I think the worst KZfaq video I ever saw was the host with his back to the camera saying OK "now I'm taking this part off". Each to their own but I think it's pretty silly using a torque wrench for everything. I remember on some Mercedes Internet list someone said they even torqued the rotor screw on the distributor I don't think they "made a mistake" at all but each to their own Now a little guilty confession. My SL with an M1 19 engine has yet another leak through one of the valve cover gaskets I guess for that engine they are notorious for that. When I had a 300 E with an M103 and I was replacing the valve cover gasket, I thought I would get a bolt "just a little tighter" and then had the sickening feel of stripping the threads on the aluminum head Had to helicoils it which of course isn't the best solution but it worked So I may look up the torque spec for that but I can also tell you a good professional mechanic knows by feel when something is tight enough For a job like that if you also use a quarter inch drive ratchet that gives you a better feel for what is "tight enough". Oh, and using a new retaining screw. You put blue Loctite on and the old one is just fine as they did. Just my opinion.

I've changed all brake pads and discs + front sensors and I still have "Brake lining wear" message on the dashboard. Anyone knows what can be the problem?

This is not for E430 brake change. E430 has 4 piston calipers. Pads held in by 2 pins.

Big mistake made on the this video I noticed, your meant to release the bleed nipple on the brakes when pushing back the caliper piston to prevent air getting in the system, the chances are the brakes will be ineffective

BZZZZZZ Wrong, opening the bleeder is the sure way to introduce air into the system. Just return the piston and mind the brake fluid level in the reservoir when doing so. How could simply returning the piston introduce air?
