Thank you for this! I was trying to change my low beam light bulbs earlier and was confused which bulbs were which. I'm a new Bmw owner so still learning about them😂

I was able to do it without taking the wheel off. Just turn the wheel all the way outward, yes outward, I know a lot of other videos say inward, but if you have this version of headlights where you have to take the whole panel off, you'll see why outward works better. I have an '07 328i

You should be specific on the model year. This looks the same as my ‘06 E90. The H7 are daytime running lights. Well done video. Helped me out!

Thanks. Very informative. I just replaced the H7. The manual says it can be done from up top and you remove the inner fender. I did it from up top and only had to remove the air filter box (2 minutes since I'm used to it from cleaning the air filter). The Xenon is also easily replaced but can be done by removing the small access panel on the inner fender.

I have been looking for that other bulb, not the xenon for days. Thank you.

E90 ‘06 -‘08 use same hid adaptive xenon headlamp. Just adaptive xenon hid model , non regular model with H7 hi / low headlamp light bulb.

Question i use a tester because my bulb does not turn on and its good i bought another one that its how i know that the one i have its good my question is when i use a tester show that i have power on the base of that bulb but the bulb does not work sti'll

Awesome video! I have condensation in my e92 2011 m3 and got the notification saying my low beam has malfunctioned - if I replace my xenon bulb and it still doesn't work - hopefully it does - that other square piece underneath is that silver piece - how do you replace that

You don't need to take the wheel off to get to the access panel in teh front wheel arches. Just turn the steering full lock to the left to get access to the left wheel arch, full lock to the right to access the right wheel arch. I just replaced both H7 dipped beam (non halo) in my E91 in about 5 minutes... no jacking required. Damned if i can work out how to get to the sidelight bulbs though. Anyone?

Can you then take out the whole headlight unit by just removing the wheel liner?
