More detail for people looking for help on a stuck button... While i was waiting for parts, I used my fingernail to pop out the center part of the button. Then used a bamboo skewer for a few days to push the button and start the microwave... Anyway, thanks to this video, I was able to complete this fix, alone, in about 20 min. To save some time, you can leave the microwave mostly installed in the wall. Behind the door, unscrew the outer most screws. Then the microwave can slide forward enough to reach the 2 screws for the control panel. You need a 2mm allen key. Then lift the control panel from the bottom. Take note of how the wired part of the button is sitting in the plastic housing (the broken part you need to replace). Take the wired part of the button out of the plastic housing. Break the housing (in my case, it was already broken) and remove it. With the new part, press it into the control panel from the front. It takes some force. Slide the wired part of the button back in place. Put the control panel back in place. Check, (with a bamboo skewer, for example,) that the button doesn't move when pressed. Take the center part of the old button, align the dimples on both parts, and press it forcefully into its new home. Check that it works and screw everything back in place. In the interest of assisting anyone else with a stuck button.... I spent dozens of hours trying to figure this all out so I could keep the microwave out of the landfill. Like some others, I found that my Ikea microwave IBMS1455 (by Whirlpool) had a stuck start/add 30 seconds button. The button would not depress. You will have to remove the microwave from its built-in location. That should not be difficult. As Carlos Puig advises, you remove the four screws that are visible when you open the microwave door. You then remove the microwave from whatever kind of brace or support it's attached to. 2. You will then be able to flip back the top glass panel which has the controls, by removing two star screws at the top of the right and left sides of the microwave. It's helpful to have the microwave lying on its back for this operation. 3. The button is held in place by a plastic shaft. That is the part that you will need to replace. Its flanges are easily broken. 4. Once you have the control panel tipped back, you will see how to remove and replace the shaft. Pinch the tabs that are holding the shaft to the glass panel. Remove the button from the broken shaft (there is no non-destructive way to do that), and push the new shaft into the glass panel, from the top and boldly. 5. Reattach the electronic button switch to the button mechanism. Confirm that the button depresses. Reinstall.

Hey carlos, i have the same mircowave in a house i recently purchases in oct 2017 and the power button is just stuck and wont work! i need to get to the control panel, do i just remove the 4 screws or not? help lol
