Going to try this switched out the filters with my Dad's help in the past so using all his tools I should be able to do it on my own now. Will use this video for guidance.

Even this simple job is complicated on zafi! I had to weld extra nut on draining bolt, of course, because one idiot tightened it to much.... But, I did the job thanks to your video! Thank you a lot!

Ciao scusami, il filtro dell' olio deve essere stretto fino a fine corsa oppure basta stringere ma senza esagerare una volta che non si muove???

Not a very safe way of working underneath though, how much oil did you end up putting in, I can't tell on my engine with my dipstick unless I leave the dipstick out all night as the oil is always showing a long way above the top of the full mark, I think someone must have been rushing about when they fitted mine and bent it out of shape.

Thanks for your time mate to make this great video. I've just purchased a 2009 Holden Astra CDTi 1.9 120hp 8v wagon here in Australia for my daughter. Last one to be imported into Australia.You would probably know it as the Vauxhall Estate. In miles it's done 50,000 and picked her up for $7000AUD which is about 4300GPD. It hasn't had the belt an water pump replaced yet. Any thoughts on that? Manual here says 10yr or 150,000km. Anyhow thanks for sharing.

Zmień tytuł filmu, wprowadzasz ludzi w błąd. Alfa Romeo ma blaszany filtr oleju przykręcany z przodu, Fiat tak samo. Typ filtra oleju, który Ty pokazujesz jest tylko w Saabie i Oplu.

Very poor quality oil. Filter also not great. Ravenol HLS or Mobil Dexos2 and UFI filters make the difference on this engine. GM oil makes lots of deposits and makes the engine run rough.

Yeah. Its a pain changing the filter on the alfa romeo 159 with the same engine. There is no space around the filter-housing and the drainplug is so close to the frame, so You can’t use a wrench 😢
